Yea it was a performance alright, not of the respectful type though. Look, just cause Madonna and who ever did sexual type performances before doesn't mean people can't say what they want about this or that they think it's crap.
Only thing is Madonna did some really great things and I don't think she ever degraded herself in that way.

pretty sure madonna was watched by an older crowd, not by impressionable kiddies. apparently MTV needs to recruit them younger these days.

Anyway, this performance was the VMA's controversy this year. They set one up every year just to get people buzzing about it.
I'm kinda glad MTV doesn't play videos anymore. I can just imagine the crap they'd play.
