Sadam's execution was almost broadcasted all over the world. I haven't been able to see a pic of dead Bin Laden yet.

by the way, speaking as someone who is currently deployed in Afghanistan, I can tell you that that stupid bastard preacher made everyone's job here considerably worse, and directly caused the deaths of a number of people. He knew it would happen, too -and as far as I'm concerned, that makes him eligible for charges of treason.

Amazing speech. One thing I hope everyone keyed in on was the fact that Obama made it clear this wasn't a war on Islam and we were able to kill Bin Laden by working in conjunction with the Pakistani authorities. News like this should unite, not divide.

The US has been pouring billions into Pakistan since 9/11 and we're nowhere close to finding bin Laden...despite the fact he's been living less than a thousand feet away from a major Pakastani military base for at least 3 years. Not only did none of the info that lead to discovery of bin Laden's whereabouts come from the Pakistani military or Intelligence community, many have now concluded it would have been impossible for a facility of this size to have been constructed so close to a major army base without some members of the Pakistan's government and military knowing about it......or who was living there. And if you can tell me how this raid was done in conjuction with the Pakistani government when there were never informed by the US of his whereabouts, and where never given a heads up concerning the raid in spite of the fact it resulted in a violation of Pakistani airspace....I'd love to hear it. I can only guarantee you one thing.....had the US tipped off the Pakistani's as to their intentions the only thing we'd be talking about today is how close they came to capturing or killing this mass murderer.

that is very true. same thing with Himmler leader of the SS in WW2. when the british killed him, only a few soldiers new were they buried him in fear his grave site would become a nazi shrine. so dumping Osoma in the ocean was a good call, if that really is what they did.

some questions though. how did this all happen so fast. there are conflicting reports. some news say this happened last week and the DNA evidence just came back. but Oboma says he was killed last night. so how could the DNA come back the same night, did they already have Osomas family DNA on file. all thiis seemed to have happened very quickly, a little to quickly.

Sorry fellas but his family has the right to his body. And to the guys who want to piss on it makes you just as bad as they are. Violating corpses and torturing prisoners only makes us look just like the terrorists we're against. Just because they do something doesn't make it ok for us to act like savages and do it to them otherwise we become what they are.
