No it's no joke. Why not make like him. I thought he pretty funny, sneaky, and tricky. I'd actually want them to make a figure of him and bird mask Jill. Hot Toys can't seriously mess them up. I'd want an Excella, but after seeing that hot toys doesn't take female figures seriously with Sheva, I'd forget about it.
I'm curious though, why do you think I'm joking?

NO it's a different guy, Irvings likeness is taken from the voice actor and motion captor himself. I still think adding him would cool, I don't really see anything bad about him, a figure of him would look cooler than a Salazar. IMHO a bird mask jill and a irving would end up looking the best if made. This is how I'd see it.

JILL - Bird Mask
- Hooded Cloak
- 2 Machine Guns
- Chest probe with LED light function
IRVING - 2nd Smiling Head
- Suitcase with files, Laptop, Syringe
- Sunglasses
- Pistol

Both figure would look sharp to put in production, I don't really see why not. I though Salazar was nothing to the RE4 story but just another enemy to get in Leon's Way. Every Character in RE5 had a use to the story. Irving is suppose to stand as the guy that's behind everything, the fundings of Uroboros and the crisis. But since the trailers spoiled the twist of the game, we already know it's Wesker behind everying and because of that everyone else if often ignored. Have you read any of the RE History in the Game? He sounds more story connected than we usually see. His short screen time may have been disappoint because we already knew Wesker and Jill were the surprise. Because of that spoil, we forget that the short appearance is actually meant to build mystery to the character based on little we know. But if you read the Irving History in the game, you'll see that he's actually a pretty important asset to the story.

I'm on the fence about Chris, but I do like how Sheva turned out. I'd like some closer pics of that head sculpt though.

I apologise...but you have to appreciate that some peeps haven't played through the game like you so a degree of responsibility should be used when discussing the figures...Just an observation, but this aint the game thread its the figure thread...PEACE
