Why laugh at me? I'm not saying the sculpt is bad. I'd probably buy them the way they are now. I'm just saying don't judge it by early pics. Wait till some final production pics or an official Hot Toys provided pic before you condemn the whole figure.

I'm just saying wait and don't burn the figures before you see the final sculpt. What's wrong with that? I'm not defending them that much by saying so. I could care less if anyone buys these or not. Just foolish to judge something so early in it's life when no one has even seen what they'll look like when they are done.

true, but i meant say, i would agree with his opinion if and only if hot toy did fix their mistakes, but considering that hot toys has never done so, chris is a disaster.

Hot Toys never fixed a mistake?? Umm, well, the Godfather and Dutch headsculpts come to mind. Not that they were bad to begin with but they certainly improved on them once initial pictures were released.

And Chris, a "disaster"?? Bit of hyperbole there, eh?? If that same figure was released with a bigger upper body, it would look great, but there currently exists no base body to represent Chris' look in the game, so what should Hot Toys do?? Just not release a Chris figure??

Those weren't mistakes dude, they were just last final design aps. When it comes to their dark knight figures, they barely fix the mistakes. Their worst mistake was having an american guy sculpt the burnt two face head.

If they really wanna fix chris's body, why not just give him a modified Hot Toy Hellboy Body?

I really did have high hopes for chris, the mistakes simply to fix, but hot toys will never listen. For example their new hot toys cop joker has "POLICE" written on it when it should be "GCPD" a mistake like that is forgivable, but since the figure comes with a new purple version suit, they still messed up by keeping the socks the same.

In regards to the Chris figure, the only issue is the body and clothing. Sheva is ok, her skin tone should be lighter and for once can hot toys take female bodies more seriously by given them skin layer bodies that hide joints.

Since I believe hot toys will never listen, please make Jill, Irving, and Wesker, you seriously can't mess those up.

I hope we have news and a preview with official pics in the Hottoys newsletter this week!!,perhaps today or tomorrow..:google

everyone is really down on these PROTOTYPE figures and for what? I seriously doubt that HT will leave them like that. FFS just wait until we see some PRODUCTION pics before you all condemn these to the pits of plastic hell.

Nobody seems to be listening to reason, I'm sure the official HT pics will be awesome.

The thing is Hot Toys already has these things displayed in a magazine....I do not see these changing all that much. Yes Dutch was altered, but only the head. And the first pic of Dutch didn't look that bad either. I do not see Hot Toys buffing up Chris because that would require a completely new body. They may change the sculpt but he will still look too scrawny.

And to all you folks complaining about the "Debbie Downers"....if it is ok to praise a prototype why is it not ok to bash it? We are criticizing the prototype not the final product. It is ok to criticize Hot Toys...nobody is perfect.

you are quite entitled to your opinion, I will never tell anyone otherwise, but the point I am trying to make is that HT are doing outstanding jobs on their figures, and I doubt that they themselves would release Chris and Sheva looking like they do now.
If they do release them and there is no change then you can say I told you so, but I just get a bit sick of all the moaning. Maybe HT should withdraw them and then we would have no RE5 figures at all?

Maybe Hot Toys will see all the moaning and do something about it. They already announced that the figures are coming, I don't see them withdrawing the figures.

We can also choose to keep quiet and praise the hell out of these figures and have Hot Toys release them looking like this. Hot Toys wouldn't have shown them in the mag unless they thought the figures were ready.
