I always thought my Leons looked pretty cool. :confused:
Leons1.jpg

awesome pics right there:rock

:rock:rock:rock:rock:rock

Anybody that looks at that and isn't in awesome awe, they need glasses

so true and with a couple of zombie figs around to show how badass he is icing on the cake

Usually first attempts are ok, but looking at this now his hair looks ^^^^, thats something I would expect from medicom. But now that hot toys has shown significant improvement, I still think they need to push more effort into making these figures look more accurate.

this is my pronostic

chris redfield {Release date: Q2, 2009}

sheva alomar {Release date: Q2, 2009}

albert wesker {Release date: Q3, 2009}

jill valentine {Release date: Q3, 2009}

and may be

chainsaw majini {Release date:2010}

ricardo irving {Release date: 2010}

and if we are very lucky

Yeah, both Leons were slam dunks. I only have RPD, but he's still one of my favorite figures that I own.

I will agree that its a bit big, but I disagree that it sucks

Looking at it now it sucks, but back then as a first attempt was good for videogame figure standards. Today if hot toys were to Redo leon, they'd have to give his a skin layer for his upper body and a tighter dark grayish/blue sport shirt. Thinner fabric leather jacket. The head will need to look improved of course.

Leon was buffer than Chris Redfield from the first game in RE4.
In RE5 Chris became Rambo.

Have any of you guys seen HOT TOYS John Conner, that has a good example of the Jacket and fabric layer thickness improvements.

You got the definitive list of possibilities, not sure about the Uroboros Wesker. Excella would still be a mess Glad I didnt see her on the list. I'm having second thoughts on BSAA Jill though. She can stay if and only if her clothes and weapon gear straps stay tight as they look in the render. If they clothes stay tight, it looks like her elbow joint are covered up, and her gloves hide the wrist joints too, just like the Joker figure does.

I have, and yes it looks awesome. But its tough to compare figures that are at least 2 years apart in production...same goes for pretty much any line. Case in point, AVP Preds vs the upcoming Predator 1. That's what makes the hobby so fun, constant improvement.

If they only make sheva and chris. It's EPIC FAIL for hot toys. They already messed up. But if they consider making more or RE5, they should see that each next character offers chances for improvements on future figures of videogame characters. Body is more of a problem than the clothes right now as I see them improve. I choose Irving, Jill, and Wesker. Because each character offers the perfect chance for bigger improvement. If you look at thier batman figure, it's just one suit. I hear they might make a second version to thin the armor. I believe that technique should be applied if they ever made bird mask Jill. Bird mask jill has not armor, she has a jumpsuit. So that's easier build than the batman.

My only issue with hot toys video game figure lines is that they improve slow, and their movie lines improve fast. BTW does YUJI and JC HONG work on the RE figures?

If it's only to be Chris and Sheva, I'd hope hot toys would make Niko Bellic for a next step on improvement.

thats what keeps me in this hobby...love seeing the constant improvements

I just hope that one of them come with the tripple barrel hydra shotgun!!

the Ithaca M93 Shotgun that is pictured isn't very accurate, it should have a longer barrel (not the one that sheva has, the other one) but these arent official so im sure we'll see a ton of improvements
