I am such a nerd that I just took vacation from the 24th to the end of that week. Just to play Halo!

I'm taking Wed. off and calling in sick on Friday :monkey3

So don't feel bad. I have a feeling a lot of sick days will be used up that week.

I'd use sick days but I'm in school.

But hey, I'll finally have a reason for that second controller I bought. And is it just me or does matchmaking suck? I'd rather just see a list of servers and join the one I want rather than having it join me up with some random server.

I just started playing Halo a couple of weeks ago... I figured i should propably play the first two games in the series before getting Halo 3:eek::D

BioShock DLC Details Confirmed
'Brass Balls' available for all die-hard Xbox players.
by Martin Robinson, IGN UK

UK, December 4, 2007 - More details have emerged of the new downloadable content for 2K Games' critical smash BioShock. In a statement on its website today it was revealed that players will have access to four new plasmids and gene tonics, alongside a new Achievement for 360 owners. The DLC will also include a fix for the much maligned widescreen support.

Christoph Hartmann, President of publisher 2K, said, "As one of the highest rated games of the year we wanted to continue to connect with the fans that made BioShock such an overwhelming retail and critically-acclaimed hit. We are excited to offer new downloadable content that will extend and enhance the replay value of this title."

The four new plasmids and gene tonics are as follows:

Sonic Boom: Hurls creatures and objects back with a blast of force.

EVE Saver: Enables Plasmids to use less EVE.

Vending Expert: Reduces prices in the vending machines.

Machine Buster: Increases the amount of damage players deal to cameras, bots and turrets.

In answer to the many grumbles that emerged around the lack of true widescreen support, the game will now have an option that offers a wider horizontal field of vision. Xbox 360 citizens of Rapture also have a new achievement to strive for, titled 'Brass Balls', unlocked upon completing the game on the hard difficulty setting without dying.

Cool! Thanks Fritz!

I think if they charge for DL content you should get more gameplay. I don't think adding some powers and a new acheivement is worth it. I think they should add a level or two. Now that I would love and would gladly pay for that.

I believe the update is free, especially since it's free for PC users, and really it's also an update for the game to fix a few problems, like the widescreen issue.

I didn't see a date in Fritz's post about a when this will be available. Anyone know?
