its up for bid and its damaged so i guess around $400

How bad is the damage? A damaged Scar isn't worth $400. I mean if it's some minor cosmetic problem then fine.

Edit: I see the auction. A foot peg is easy to replace. Yea go for it. Maybe it'll roam around $375 or so when it ends. Who knows.

i have a very important decision to make and i need your help making it.
do i get the scar predator used from ebay from someone who has a couple of bad feed back's
or do i get the exclusive predator 1 from the same guy that he says is brand new
or do i get a brand new non exclusive predator 1 from someone with no bad feedback
or do i save my money and get a brand new scar predator?

The seller only has 2 negatives out of 597 with a 99.1% rating. Also a Top-Rated Seller from ebay. Looks trustworthy. I wouldn't worry much.

I personally never by from anyone with less than 99% positive feedback on ebay especially if they're overseas. I personally say go with the non exclusive P1 from the guy with 100% positive feedback or wait for the new Classic Pred.

Definitely this. The EX isn't worth more than $40 of what they're asking for the non-EX. I really didn't like that mask. Plus getting the reassurance of a reliable seller is priceless. Don't gamble.

I agree - the non ex is the regular edition anyway - the exclusive has an addition (doesn't make it MORE complete)...

plus get the new classic predator (from the new movie)it will be different anyway - - he's technically a different predator (maybe from the same clan or something)

i rarely sell (80% buyer, 20% seller) but ebays feedback policy nowadays is BS. after ebay changed it's policies awhile back it's INCREDIBLY easy for a seller to get bad feedback. a seller can NOT leave negative or neutral feedback for a buyer EVER now, which is totally 1 sided. don't know about you but i always like to hear both sides of an argument, and w/ those policies it's impossible. i know of good sellers who've literally been blackmailed by the buyer using the "you can't leave me negs but i can you" ploy.
i received my 1 and only non-positive (neutral) because he got hit with more Customs charges than he expected. i did everything he asked and he neutrals me.
so TC, if the seller only has a couple outta 597 he's most likey good

Around June of 09 I believe it was finally released. I got the Exclusive from Sideshow for $175 shipped if my memory serves me right.

I believe it was. Someone posted an Asian news paper article that said Hot Toys was going to do the Classic Pred with a new body and the likes.

I thought someone called BS on that? Don't remember. That's the only article on it then. I still think it's too early to say. But a new Classic Pred with new body would really be awesome. Still, my P1 is pretty damn near perfect IMO with the TD mask already.

New Scar? Wow if I had a penny for every time a person said HT would remake the AVP preds. Doubt that would happen dude. The AVP license is long gone with HT. And with all the licenses they've gotten their hands on, they'll be way too busy for the next few years to revisit any old licenses.

Well Falconer is expected. So should Tracker be. And I really do hope for a Classic. Though I hope they will decrease the price for the Classic since he's just the P1 with a new body, less armor and a broken Bio. I'm still disappointed that Classic and Berserker didn't have a shoot out with their shoulder cannons. They just hugged and rolled around on the floor. If they had used the wrist blades and plasma cannons against each other during that battle, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EPIC! What a let down.

I can't remember what, but somthing i read confirmed the fact for me that they're making classic. I agree, i was also disappointed when they didn't use any weapons against each other.... What was the point of Classic even gearing up? . Do people still have to say "spoiler alert" anyway? hasn't the movie been out for a while now?

Yea that's what I thought too. When he gears up and put that shoulder cannon on, I was like "OOOOH SHHHH*T" and he doesn't even use it. I mean come on!

The movie's been out for more than a month now. I had no idea that there were still people in this thread that hasn't watched it. Again that was my bad.

I think the biggest question at the time was whether or not he'd have a new body or just a staright re-release of the P1 without the bone trophies etc and if the article in question can be belived, we will indeed get Classic with a new (and hopefully taller) body.

If we do get a Classic, we better get a different and much improved Pred. I'm not paying for the same thing with less stuff. Can't agree with Classic being the most popular Pred in the whole movie. He really paled in comparison to the other Super Preds and its predecessor the P1. He was a half assed wannabe Pred that didn't know how to shoot a shoulder cannon. But that's just my opinion. I still really like the Falconer.
