That's one of the draws for me too Batty. Most of my other stuff goes together, but right now Indy'll kinda be the only stand alone piece I have, so I think he'll look good with Blackbeard. And if not this just looks like such a great piece.

This is one awesome figure - I had the chance to play with it a bit when I was in the office the other day... super cool and detailed down to the last button!

Do we have any pirate smilies on here?

We should add this one:

Dusty, which hand does the EX boarding axe replace? The sword or the pistol?

The ax is a separate piece (you can see it in his belt in a couple of the pics). i guess they couldn't decide which hand to replace because both the sword and the pistol are so cool... he just needs 3 arms, that's all ;)

Do you work for Sideshow Dusty?

Wow that is awesome. Dunno if I will go for the exclusive or not. The axe is awesome, but if it is supposed to go behind him it's not really going to be visible in my display area.

And If Sideshow Charges $20 more for that Axe it will make it a lot easier to order the Reg

Yes, I do work for Sideshow - for the past (nearly) 4 years... Toy Fair will be my 4th anniversary :banana

As far as I know - unless they change something at the last minute, which they have been known to do, so don't hold it against me - both editions will be the same price.

It is my understanding that the ax is a separate piece, so can be placed anywhere you would like it to go - in the front with the guns, placed upon the base (looks like he's boarded already, so maybe he tossed it aside to pull out his weapons?), etc...

Cool thanks for the Info Dusty
And don't worry I wouldn't blame the price on you :monkey3

Again I'd like to mention Trevor's amazing sculpt. It's fantastic. And so is the costuming by Greg Mowry.
