I'm starting to think that the base with the canon will be the exclusive.....

I was kind of wondering that too. They have been pretty big with the 12" Indy exclusives so maybe they will with this as well.

This is a out of the ordinary Premium Format so I think they learned the lesson that although not very popular, if it is well sculpted and has a kick ass exclusive, it will sell out pretty quickly.

To this day I don't understand the popularity of Seven of Nine for Star Trek. It sells for a lot of money on ebay..... I think Blackbeard might be one of those grail pieces that you will kick yourself for not getting it back then when it was available....

Well the pose requires him to have his foot on something, so if the cannon is the exclusive what else could he have his foot on? A rock? Or a barrel of rum for those who want to pretend he is Captain Morgan.

Maybe this will have a really small edition size like that 200 ES for the dino dio.

I think I figured out what the Exclusive is on this...

The new issue of Toyfare came in today and the pic of the Blackbeard PF shows him wielding dual pistols (one in each hand). So either the sword is the Exclusive... or the additional hand with pistol. One or the other (I'm guessing the sword is the Ex.)

The cannon base will be standard.

I think the sword would be standard... A pirate has to have a sword.

I was trying to get away from buying PFs, but I don't know if I can resist this one. I like how it works as a stand alone piece instead of being part of a series.
