Nice. Will probably have to grab this, always loved the look of the Rocketeer.

Helmet looks perhaps a touch skinny, and the head sculpt isn't up to much, but I'd likely never display this without the helmet on anyway, so that's no big deal for me.

I've got the Executive Replicas/Go Hero Commando Cody Rocketman from the 1952 Radar Men From the Moon serial (plus a bunch of Boba Fetts!), so will probably have to get the Rocketeer too.

I always meant to pick that up, but sadly never did. Looked like a nice piece, but last time I looked they seem to cost a small fortune now on the secondary market. At least the ones I've seen, anyhow.

How well has the jacket held up?

He's pretty good, better than ER/Go Hero's usual output.

I looked back through my old Flickr account from when he arrived, and I don't have any really good photos of him. He's quite heavy due to al the metal parts, but the stand was designed to help support the jetpack.

Bargain bin Cliff Secord headsculpt, but everything else looks solid. Like the details on the glove for the rocket button and a holster is nice. I've got a Medicom Rocketeer already, but this could be good for tinkering and back up spare parts.

I am not familiar with Blackbox, what's your opinion based on previous releases?

They're a mixed bag.

The first figure I got by them was the Gotham Riddler, which was well made. Good sculpt, and actual working buttons for the jacket and waistcoat.

The next figure was Joi from Blade Runner 2049. Her biggest downfall was that she was too tiny, even for Ana de Armas. Plus her transparent coat was cloudy.

The last figure was their Joi 2.0, which was meant to be an upgrade. I actually preferred their original version apart from the new properly transparent and better tailored coat. (So I just swapped the coats over). Joi 2.0 used real leather for the boots, but the original ones still looked better.

I suspect them to also be known as TITToys because their unique style of packaging at the time was identical. And since Toys Era also began making figures from Gotham at the same time I suspected they might also be Black Box. (Toys Works was assumed to be Toys Era).

If you take all those 'companies' as a whole, it really is a mixed bag of poor to very good. For example, Toys Works released a very good Kingpin, as well as an awful bait and switch Jessica Jones.

This Rocketeer doesn't look particularly high end, so it'll have to be a judgement based on price.

Well the helmet looks way off and the jacket is the wrong color, but doesn't look too bad otherwise. And it's nice to see someone finally making a new Rocketeer figure.

Might be worth picking up to upgrade my old Medicom figure (since the jacket on that one is finally starting to deteriorate). .

I was excited to see someone doing the Rocketeer, but I see quite a few things off with it. The helmet and the jacket are the wrong color, and the boots and the gloves look off too. He doesn't have a holster in the movie either. No bubblegum on the back of the backpack, lots of misses.

Not only does the helmet sculpt look off, It's too large compared to the body. I think the helmet is made to fit over the head sculpt and that head sculpt also looks huge. The body also looks too thin.
I was really excited to get another chance at owning a Rocketeer but this just looks terrible. Unless it looks better in hand I'm passing on this. Bummer.

I've not seen this up for pre-order yet but if ii do, I will probably pick it up. Loved the movie as a kid.

Uhm... quite strange it's not up for preorder on the usual websites yet. Seen on some obscure ones for 160$ and 185$ for A and B version.
