Interesting. They told me 1 month from the time of ordering for the bloody head alone.

Note the following details: they told me that it costs,

- 200USD for an unpainted head
- 480USD for a painted head
- 300USD for the full 'factory' set
- They are offering cheaper, lesser quality, 'factory' and superior 'studio' versions. ' And they also said (Google translated), 'That is to say, we only provide prototypes for factory production'.
Yeah well, it's the same sculpt for the shoes and it's painted black with a bit of dirt so... there's no reason they should be charging that when they're using it for mass production.

But curious to know what kind of drop in quality is to be expected? Will the coats still be weathered?

Who's going to be ordering? Seems too good a deal to pass, but also makes me a bit skeptical.

The description says that we can expect a 20% drop in quality. I wonder what that translates to in reality.

I reckon the damaged head will take the biggest hit. I hope I'm wrong. And I hope the coat comes out as good.

I asked for clarification over the delivery times since there is a discrepancy in what Por Toys told me and what someone else in this thread shared earlier. They replied with screenshots of two private conversations of theirs with other customers. Part of the message is the same breakdown that someone shared earlier in this thread, revealing the name of one customer and another screenshot revealed someone having paid them along with a screenshot of their PayPal payment confirmation details and their personal information (name, address, phone number and email). Very unprofessional. I don't feel safe dealing with them if they are happy to share PMs and customer's personal data so haphazardly. Just a warning for anyone who intends to order.

Well…. That’s not reassuring in the slightest. Thank you for the heads up.

I managed to futz my Supermad coat the other day and get is even closer to screen accuracy, it really helped with the overall look:

I tried my new DID body too but unfortunately it fell short of being as suitable and accurate as the ATO20. After several attempts with various stock and custom bodies I've kitbashed and modified, I think that's me done trialing bodies for this outfit and head!

I really like the DID body, however. The articulation is very good, arms have superb musculature. Shoulders have superb height adjustment, so I was able to lower them to mimic Gosling's relaxed posture, in which he has natural, sloped shoulders (I find most figures are too broad and unnatural in this aspect). But like most of the others, the resulting figure was approx. .5cm too short (a longer ankle peg would have fixed that). The coat just didn't fit as well and getting the right front flap folds was impossible on it - the left flap kept pulling back onto the magnet, too. The neck didn't also sit as naturally and nicely as on the AT020. There was also too much of a gap around the neck and collar. The arms also don't look as natural at his sides as the AT020, and as I wanted them to be. And lastly, it was hard to pose and stand straight and look correct.

I've shared inks to my previous writeups for my body trials for K earlier in the thread in case it is of help to anyone.

I get the sense that por's heads are ever so slightly oversized

Possibly. One thing to note is that they may have captured using 1.0 zoom, or other, which tends to distort proportions. This is why I only capture using 2.0 on my S10, because it maintains correct proportions. I'm not sure if this applies to all lenses, however.

This is so ******* weird man. And to think I almost paid $100 just for 1 pair of shoes. And it's $300 for essentially 2 complete figures.

Were they trying to pull a fast one on me?

Glad I waited.
Yeah I can’t believe that the entire set is only $300.. Literally cheaper than most Hot Toys figures these days.

I think the studio versions are tailored and painted by Por.toys themselves and the factory versions are mass produced by another party (Artisan Studio?). That’s my guess on the cheaper price and if that’s the case the studio version would cost significantly more.

They did the same for their Joker 2 figures. Sculpted had a bigger quantity was a lot cheaper than the rooted option.

Same here.

To gamble or not to gamble….

Honestly. I was going to pay half that money for a pair of shoes and a shirt anyway. For 300, it's too good a deal to pass up.

I'm skeptical about the final quality. But I'm sure there will be good parts to salvage.

I'm not expecting this before 2026 though.

So, did they use the same factory for their Jokers? Curious how those turned out compared to the ones they made in house. Could give us a better idea as to what we can expect for K.

I believe they did. Seems like that Joker was their first figure.
The only difference I could see was slightly better tailoring, weathering on the shoes and clothing, more detailed paint and rooted hair. But it’s hard to tell when you don’t have both in hand to compare.
