Grandpa Blade incoming! But probably they are going indruduce his daughter in the first movie and this is why they don't care about the actor's age. His gonna be reduced to a secondary character after the first picture in a good phase 4 fashion. Ali is a good actor but IMO he was too old to begin with when they announced the movie...now he is going to be 51 when it will release.Delayed until 2025 lulz

I just went back and watched the first Blade with Snipes and to me it would be very hard to actually beat him in the role when you only look at the first 2 Blade movies. Both great movies that Marvel really owes for saving their ***** from Bankruptcy.
He’s going to age out of the role at this point. The movie and his casting was announced 5 years ago, he’s 50 now and they don’t even have a script or director.Movies - or should I say at this stage in development - scripts, by committee. Never going to work when associated with creatives who respect the craft, like Mahershala Ali.
Just copy the original at this point.Absolutely insane and at this point Marvel should just loan/sell the rights to another studio with experience in Horror and/or action.
Blade doesn't need to be in the MCU, it doesn't need to tick all the superhero/MCU checkboxes and honestly I would prefer if it wasn't/didn't.
I just want a movie where a badass dhampir slays vampires who want to rule the world in increasingly awesome and badass ways with insane weapons and martial arts - its not hard.
Old Man Blade would be great! it worked with these old Blade users, though both were really about ending one Legacy, and passing it to the next gen.At this point, bring back Snipes, Old Man Blade. Think about it!
Please just cancel this movie.

BLADE: More Details On Yann Demange's Exit; Filmmaker Described As "Difficult To Work With"
Following the news that filmmaker Yann Demange has exited Marvel Studios' Blade reboot, additional details have been revealed about his exit from the movie, including a possible clash with Mahershala Ali.
According to Jeff Sneider, Ali is said to have grown frustrated with the director; while he's considered a talent behind the camera, the report claims Demange is also "difficult to work with."
The scooper adds that he and Marvel Studios parted ways in March; Kevin Feige is said to have been searching for a writer and director ever since, though it could be that they'll eventually get the same person to do both.
Snipes is the GOAT and I would watch him come back to the role with relish, my man's still got it.I mean come on, after this delivery -"There's only been one Blade, there's only ever gonna be one Blade."
Who doesn't think he can still cary a Blade movie, How can they not bring him back for more, after that!.
