Beauty is a universal language.:lecture

Wow. Turned out fantastically well. And that stand is fantastic - puts the Hot Toys crotch-grabbers to shame

Looks ****ing bad ***! Love the base. No more ugly stick up the *** poses.

Yeah, Blitzway seems to be the prodigal son returning on the stand front. The magnetic Montana and now this? Awesome stuff.

Can't wait for the next Pacino figure! We need Michael Corleone!!

That's the thing, you start small (like Hot Toys, etc) and then eventually expand operations, licenses and whatnot. The thing I love about Blitzway is their desire to make their product legitimately licensed stuff. I respect the hell outta that.

Quality over quantity is my new focus on collectibles. Absolute must haves (Pacino/DeNiro are no brainers) is an obvious choice but also having every single piece (Snake Eater comes to mind) an absolute home run is where i'm heading.

Yup me too. I'm almost 80% sure i'll need to get a second one. That's how important both the actor and film are to me.

Exactly! And I also hope they just stick with classic Italian (just so happens to be so far) mafia actors/movies too. I see a huge market for that and i'm sure they do too.

Plus (word is) i'm not sure if anyone here knows this but Blitzway is made up of former Hot Toys employees.

I wouldn't be able to resist a Michael Corleone, but, I have to wonder if, after all these years, Blitzway could top HT's Vito. I'm all for seeing them give it a shot.

Best tailored jacket at 1:6th from this video (my opinion), just stunning, that and the glasses. This figure is now my most anticipated (even over the Joker V.2). Def. gonna want an extra jacket for a few other bashes.:thud:

Yeah after seeing this **** the Joker! :lol

It's funny that you mention The Joker because, the more I looked at the outfit in the review, the more I thought "Holy ****! Joker stole Carlito's digs!" Seriously, with the exception of color, and material (on the coat), they're actually quite similar, from an aesthetic standpoint.:lol

Thinking of selling my Mark V to fund this guy, got DX12 to pay for this month or i'd drop the cash to get this guy.

Bah! Just cancel the DX 12! We'll get a better one at some point, and this appears to blow that one out of the water.:lecture

I realy want a Christopher Walken figure any but i would love Blitzway to do a 1/6 Frank White from The King Of New York love this film so many great performances.

ha! the facebook pictures clearly and specifically demonstrate that he's wearing socks.

too funny.

but also awesome.

Price already up by $20 from that seller. Not such a fabulous bargain anymore :(

yepi tend to act fast now when i see a good price because the sellers up their prices fast, even if i sometime end up cancelling.
At least i'm sure i got a right price for me.

Thanks for the link. Bought. :D

yur welcome ;)

The figure is an instant buy for me, but I can already tell that quality has dropped some compared to the proto. The sculpt has a bit of that toyish shine to it. Easy enough to fix with a professional repaint.

yeah, it loses some of the subtlety of the tones in the final, but the sculpt is so good it barely matters, i think.

Yea the production piece's paint isn't even in the same realm as the proto :(. It's a little disappointing to see Blitzway put something out that is so for off from the proto. We can b__ch about HT all we want but the paint shows up in hand basically identical to the protos

Well it's not like I'm not getting it because this is a dream come true type figure.

A repaint may be an order though!

The eyes are bugging me a bit, they look overly dilated. That's definately a repaint for me.

actually, i think the dilated look of the eyes is exactly right ~ it's part of what really makes this look like pacino for me.

i ain't disappointed at all. it's not exact, but it's pretty close to the prototype ~ i won't be messing with it at all. but then, i never do.

: D
