Put the sunglasses on him. :lol The HS is fantastic and definitely Pacino hands down. If your a fan of Carlito's Way, I don't see any reason not to buy this one.

I just wanted to let you guys know, this toy looks like a toy, it has joints, and it looks painted, and I won't buy it because of that.

I'm all over this no matter what because it really is a dream piece for me. At the end of the day if I feel the paint is on the level after I get it in hand then great. If I feel it needs a repaint , then there are a lot of capable hands around these parts.

I just wish we had some more in hand pics to go off of. Come on people! Show us your Charlie Brigantes!!!

I'm sure Ski could do a wicked paint job on it, but it will probably look great in hand and not need a repaint. Just have to wait and see what shows up in the box I guess. I think it looks dam good though and I can't wait to get this guy. :wink1:

Yup me too, I thought this was a living, breathing mini-pacino, found out it's a TOY! Epick fail blitzway, now I have to call Gulliver, find the lost island of tiny people, plan an invasion of their island and hope for the best:monkey1

The sculpt definitely looks like Pacino.

But the expression looks a little different. In the proto, it looked like determined "don't F with me bad ***" I'll rip your c0-ck off with my hand intesnsity.

This one looks like a desperate, tierd, and scared/schocked version of the same character.

Again.. it could be the pictures... or the way the eyes were painted. Thats what i see.

Ebay pics, Looks pretty good, can't wait to have it in hand-

Well watched the movie last night. What an awesome movie can't believe i'd not taken the time to watch it before. This has now moved into must have for me.

The sculpt looks amazing on this.

Thanks Budo. As I suspected the lighting in those fb pics made the sculpt look quite sallow.

There was a bit of a hit from proto to production, but I don't think anyone was realistically epecting otherwise, were they?

I ordered mine, so I'll let everyone know how it looks "in hand". :)

i understand where ray is coming from, on those last pics, it somehow lacks on details on the sculpt. it's just the painting or maybe just the lightening, but still when i look how the paint on the beard and mouth is, you can see, that it's not that good anymore.

i'm not bashing the figure, i really like it, and i'm on the fence now if i should pull the trigger or not. repainting the head? mh, another $50-100, i don't know... it's not like the figure is cheap at all, and putting another amount to get the paint right, would make this fig even more expensive...

don't know what to do, buy or not to buy,... :D

I'm planning on a very subtle drybrushing of the beard, and to a lesser extent the hair. I think it will benefit a lot from it.

These new pics look great so I stand corrected. Blitzway just set the expectations really high with those proto pics because this looked like it was on the road to being possibly the best 1/6 sculpt ever produced!; and by a smaller company at that. It did drop a few notches from the proto but by no means is it a deal breaker. This still has a great likeness and really good realism

Alright so me and Ray maybe jumped the gun and reacted to the first pics posted that now obviously weren't good examples. But come on boys lets be serious. If your selling $200+ figures your putting yourself in the "museum quality" league and your expected to keep up with the race.

I don't need my figs to walk, talk and come hit the bar with me, but if I wanted to collect "toys" that look like "toys", I'd stick with $15 Neca figures.

yep me too thats the only thing that bothers me.
He looks soft...
Still undecided...

Looks awesome. As good as the proto? Definitely not but great none the less. Personally feel that when I have it in hand it will look even better and a repaint will not be needed.
