okay, one more picture and then i have to stop playing and go to bed. this figure has such a serious case of the awesomes i think my likewise fresh-outta-the-box bane may even be a little jealous (though he's awesome in his own right and i hope he doesn't punch mister brigante in the nose).

i agree, this a huge homerun,,,i was real worried about what the actual figure would look like compared to thr proto, i am very very satisfied,,,, way to go blityway, now dont drop the ball, follow this bad boy up...with a rambo....sorry but no 1/4 for me..have to draw the line somewhere...

Doubt Blitzway will tackle Sly, not yet anyway. They only have Pacino(1/6) and bruce lee(statue) license's currently i believe. I'd like to see them do michael corleone or even get De niro rights so we could have both their characters from Heat.

This is a great figure and photographs great. Just wish they would have gave us another left hand as i mentioned before. I will no doubt end up using another figs left hand but his skin tone is a bit different than others.

Actors dont just give licenses away to their likenesses, the toy makers lisence from the studio rights to make merch from the film and the actors have to consent use of their likenesses, often times for a cut of the profit or a fee. Scarface is no big deal. The studio owns the rights to his likeness and he can't do anything about the merch made, I'm not sure if he still gets royalties. I'm not sure how Carlito even happened. I guess he signed his likeness away to the studio for that but you don't see a lot of merch because the film is not as popular as Scarface.

Until Pacino dies its very unlikely a Michael Corleone will ever happen, he won't do it. De Niro and Eastwood also flat out refuse to give their likeness out for merch as did Brando before he died and his kids went to town putting his face on whatever they could for a buck.

oh really? didn't know. Shame that some actors won't give their likeness, even to companies who can do it and represent it well.

I could be wrong but both films fall under the Universal banner so being that BW has the license right through them,it leaves any other films open under the Universal flag for them to produce.Is "Heat" a Universal film?

The glasses cheapen this imo

The sculpt shines and really doesn't need the glasses. Glasses are great for covering flaws around the eye area, but this is one sculpt that is practically flawless

See, it might seem strange, but I'm a bit different. Unlike, say HT IM Mk 4, the glasses aren't needed to make the sculpt look better, so I can feel justified putting them on, because I know it's not hiding flaws (if that makes any sense). Plus, I always thought him strolling through the streets with his glasses on looked so friggin' awesome.

I can't wait to see what Blitzway have next in store. Hopefully it's another character from a movie I love.

Quick question for Raymond F., and I apologize if you may have answered this already...what's you opinion of this now that there have been a lot of in hand pics? I know you werent too enthused with some if the in hand pics in the beginning, has your mind been changed with the recent pics that have been posted. Personally I have been pretty blown away with the newer pics and I'm still kind of shocked of the step up from their Scarface...this is leaps and bounds ahead of it, and I love their Scarface.
