Thank you buddy! :yess:

Don't worry we'll all get a break soon if HT goes on a tear with the GI Joe license. I could use a break; with the slew of figs coming in so quickly it's hard to appreciate and enjoy them

This figure is great! But still waiting for 1/6 Michael Corleone.. if any of those figure producers decided to make one (which I'm sure won't be soon because Pacino's likeness rights is known to be hard to get, except from what I've heard, EB and Blitzway acquired it due to contract loopholes in Scarface & Carlito's Way)

If someone shows this to Al, he might change his mind :)

Just got home and this figure had arrived. The presentation from start to finish is just amazing. What quality packaging, accessories and just overall craftsmanship. This has to be a the top of the list for figure of the year so far. I am so glad I pulled the trigger on getting this:yess:

Same here. I was amazed all the way from packaging to accessories. Definitely my favorite figure alongside Reeves Superman and DX9 Bats :)

And I'm guessing I'd like to see much more from Arnie Kim now.

Congrats, and I agree with everything you said!
It truly is a masterpiece :clap

Alright freak, after 4 months of waiting for my local comic shop to get him... HE IS FINALLY HOME with my Scarface and Heat DeNiro.
Enjoy the poses guys.
Hit me with a comment if you have something to say. Thanks again guys.

Is it just me (and I'm not having a go, because I absolutely LOVE this figure), but are the BW bodies, their arms specifically, the proportions are off on the elbows, ie you bend their arms at the elbows, and the forearms are way too long? Chimp like long?

I have both their Scarface and Carlito, and both look the same in a "bent arm" position.

i am not a fan of the blitzway body ~ dunno if i think it has monkey arms, but there's definitely something off about the arms to me (in addition to the lousy articulation).

i think if it had double-joints, the bend wouldn't look so weird.

Gorgeous figure but having to sell mine unfortunately. Pm me if your interested in it :)

Here's one I bashed earlier:

Basically, I had a spare Blitzway Scarface body sitting around with nothing to do, so, when this came out, I had a use for it. I scored the majority of the gear from a store called World Of One Sixth. They loudly trumpeted free shipping for orders over $50, there was also a discount on Carlito parts. I filled my cart and checked out. It was only then that I found out that the free shipping only applied to folk INSIDE the US! Nobody else at the time had everything I needed all in the one place, so I begrudgingly paid.

The owner then contacted me and said he'd refund the shipping. 'Great!' thought I, then, when I got the PayPal invoice, I only received a partial refund of $1.50 or so. I know! Of course, after the goodies were dispatched I found a store in Malaysia that had everything I'd just bought for way less and with far more reasonable shipping! I scored the silver 1911 from them.

Then, to add insult to injury, I then got hit with a customs charge of £21.21 for the gear I'd purchased from World Of One Sixth! The guy had declared the goods to be to the value of $100 so therefore I had to pay VAT! Ouch!

I guess the only good part is that I now have a Carlito figure I absolutely love, so that one MAJOR pro outweighs all the cons, just!

:hi5: Wow!!! He turned out perfect Rogerbee. What a fantastic hs of Pacino and some great pics right there. Sorry to hear about the custom's fee, but your figure turned out awesome. Nice Carlito man.

Thanks,

Just the War HS, Indy and Bond to go then I'm outta the 1/6 game. I just can't afford to keep doing this hobby anymore! Lurking is way cheaper!

:lol I did that for awhile too, but got sucked back in a couple of years ago. I managed to stay out for a good eight years, before I came back to collecting. It's hard to stay out for good, but taking a long break helps on the wallet. :wink1:
