Not sure what the point of canceling because of delays is...if you are upset that your figure has been delayed by 3 months it stands to reason that you would be even more upset that your figure has been delayed to...never...

I think the mindset is that they want to "punish" the manufacturer for delaying the figure, which makes no sense, as you're only punishing the retailer you ordered from.

I been in this hobby 5 years so now and have learned much Patience waiting for release's and rerelease's of figure's. If i've learned there is always another release if characters are popular enough we get too choose which is best release. Mad MAX had 2 fury road Max choice's same as Soldier vs blitway. I'm just waiting for DANA & Tully and my Terror dogs release. Blitzway messaged me months ago no plans for Dana n Tully or puppys. I''m sure someone will release them eventually.....Anyway who you gonna call ? The pizza guy while i wait.[emoji38]impatient:

I dont mind the wait too much its all part of the hobby. The wait just make's me cherish the release that much more i waited a couple years for my 89 n delorean a few months is nothing to me.

I personally really don't see what the fuss is about with the delay?

If they release this summer, to me that was actually pretty quick considering they have four figures to make. I'm all for delays and ultimately having a high quality product rather than having it rushed just so I can have it in my hands when I want it, but it leaves much to be desired.

Sure they said January, but who really believed and expected that? How often does any 1/6 scale producer release a figure right in the month they initially stated? Sometimes they do, sometimes it's earlier, most of the time it's delayed.

Rushed figure = crap
More time = better product

If only this were true. Sometimes "More time = still crap". Which is not to say I think that applies to Blitzway, but in this industry delays do not always guarantee a better product. A delay doesn't necessarily mean a manufacturer is actively working to make a figure better. It could just be a reshuffling of priorities like Threezero's long-gestating Walking Dead figures (with mediocre results).

I suppose collectors can lose interest if enough time has passed between pre-order and release. For instance, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is fresh in collectors' minds and you can order figures based on that movie now. So you've just seen the movie, you go home and order the figures, but you won't actually get them for the better part of a year. I can certainly sympathize with a loss of enthusiasm during that intervening period. However, I never pre-order anything I don't intend to own (and keep). For example: it's been over two years since I pre-ordered Hulkbuster and we're pretty far removed from Avengers: Age of Ultron's premiere, so, day-to-day, I'm not really thinking about or excited about getting Hulkbuster, but I know I'll be like a kid at Christmas when it finally arrives and won't regret for a moment that I pre-ordered and waited for it.

I've wanted Ghostbusters figures going back years to when I started collecting, so a few more months is nothing.

Sounds like madness, but the wait is the best part. Once you get it, that's it. £250 down. That excitement of waiting, checking forums, those first pictures. I quite enjoy the wait, or the money in my account

I appreciate the wait. Gives me more time to plan how to pay for the damn things and come up with explanation for the wife.
Without it my shelves would fill up overnight and I'd be left with a credit card bill the size of (I don't have the wit, so insert very big, amusing thing here)!

I have no problem with the wait. More ability to save up. What would be top shelf of the company (imho) would be to post an update when they pass the initial release date. "Here's where we're at, here's where we decided to take our time and why, we're excited as well" sort of thing.

Blitzway confirmed via message the Ecto-1 wiil be at comiic-con.

I want to hunt some ghosts or watch some peeps in ghostbusters uniform's hunting real life ghosts in haunted place's. lol.

Got a reply from Blitzway this morning, production is up & running & they will be out before the car is shown at SDCC so im saying late june early July release for these
