That's surprising. Even if I didn't like one or more of the likenesses, these are licensed Ghostbusters figures from a proven 1/6 scale figure manufacturer. The proton packs and clothing are worth the price of admission, nevermind the likenesses. Think how much you'd spend to commission anything close to this. You can always commission a replacement head.

I know I'd be kicking myself for not buying all four, even just to have a base from which to bash the perfect figures, but to each their own I guess. These are grail figures for me and I can afford them.

I would have agreed with you a while back but I'm starting to get a little tired of kit bashing. I think I need a break from it! For once I just want a figure that comes out of the box looking great without having to assemble an expensive perfect version of it using three different licensed releases, a truetype and a custom head If the Venkman sculpt is as good as Spengler looked at SDCC then I'll buy it in a heartbeat. If not, I'd be buying it to form part of a kit bash and as I said I'm a little bit jaded at the moment. I have four projects on the go and I've lost interest in two of them!

Pictures like this remind me why I didn't order this; for me the entire set stands or falls on the Venkman likeness. If he turns out great I'll be kicking myself that I didn't preorder all four (but will still be happy with picking Venkman up somewhere). But if Venkman doesn't work then to me the entire set is worthless (even though Stantz and Spengler have looked great in recent photos). Hope I'm not sounding negative, and I'm sure this will be awesome.

Do not like Venkmen? What about it particularly? I know that's hard to nail down, but I thought he was pretty spot on.
Personally I think they are all pretty amazing, especially with the changes to Egon.

I cannot imagine better 1/6 scale likenesses of any of the 4. I can definitely appreciate that some would have preferred that different facial expressions had been selected but the likenesses and sculpt quality are excellent.

Yeah, I agree it's annoying when figures aren't great right out of the box.

Not that it applies to these figures, but I will often settle for a mediocre figure of a much-wanted character instead of passing altogether (Sideshow's Beetlejuice comes to mind). I suppose that just ends up supporting mediocrity, but it's hard to resist if I really love a character.

After spending about 45mins going through this thread, just ordered the individuals through BBTS (since the packs are Sold Out). They look too amazing to pass on! Of course I'm going to want to use the Venkman sculpt to make my favorite groundskeeper assistant...

Thanks for the info! I usually order through SSC. I was thinking that more orders for the multi-pack would probably open up, but since there was no deposit, I'd order the singles just in case. I'll keep checking back on BBTS to see if more orders open up. Thanks!

Same for the 3-pack I guess. Would be nice to get Slimer... but I'm thinking those single packs will drop substantially in price. At least I'm hoping.

Pretty much anyone who's getting these has already ordered and is getting a 4-pack or a 3-pack.

Its all New York to me along with Ghetto deadpool slums of NY city and X-men in West chester and Avengers tower never moved in my world. lol And def Fantastic 4 if ever get done or rebooted correctly again
