Might be running late or something as I asked for today for mine to come out. Steven got back to me on the current status of their shipment.

Good morning. Respectfully, we are aware of the chatter on Sideshow Freaks.

This is what we know right now. According to BlueFin, Hong Kong was shut down the week of August 21st due to the Typhoon. My contact at BlueFin also said on Tuesday that they expect to take possession of the shipment this week. I am hoping to receive confirmation of this today. It takes 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 weeks to cross the ocean, depending on the weather and U.S. Customs. Once the container arrives at BlueFin, because of the shear volume of our order, I will likely fly to California to process shipments directly from BlueFin's facility, so that (a) no body has to wait on their order any longer than they already have (we crossed the one year mark from the time of announcement last Saturday) and (b) we can cut down on the cost of excess shipping by not shipping to our facility (remember, not only did we given a substantial preorder discount, we also offered free shipping to Continental U.S. Customers on the 3 and 4 pack ~ however, while shipping is free to our customers, it is not free to us).

Here is what I also know:

1. No one, and I do mean no one (with the possible exception of the owner of BlueFin), has been more pissed (or dealt with more stomach acid upset) than me about the roller coaster ride that Blitzway has put everyone through on this product. We have absolute faith in Blitzway's ability to create masterful products, but their inability to accurately communicate completion dates?.....well, let's just say they have a lot of room for improvement (and to be fair, I think they know it~ Lord knows I have expressed my concerns to Blitzway's president on more than one occasion).

2. We have been assured that the Ghostbusters container is arriving at BlueFin in September. Our substantial bill with BlueFin is due next week, and we appreciate everyone who has taken care of business, and we will continue work on/with those who haven't completed the final billing process.

3. Throughout this process, we have kept in constant communication with our customers in a special Ghostbusters Newsletter, and in each instance we have conveyed the most accurate information at our disposal. There will also be yet another newsletter go out before just before BlueFin receives their shipment, which will provide more specifics about the exact time of arrival at BlueFin, and by extension, the time of shipment to our customers. Everyone who has a preorder or a wait list with us on any Blitzway Ghostbusters product receives this newsletter via email. Open rates on the newsletter have consistently been at 90% or so each time, but we can also see that not everyone opens the newsletter each time.


That is all the information I have at the moment.

Nice to get that kind of honest information from a guy just trying to run a decent business. Larger retailers would just leave you in the dark.

Another message I just got.

Frankly, I know for certain that the market response to this line was so huge that it took Blitzway completely by surprise, and it is part of the reason they have been unable to provide an accurate release date, due to the volume of product they had to produce to meet demand. I also know that the President of Blitzway has spent months away from his family and has pretty much been at the factory non-stop since March personally overseeing production on this line. Everyone with a vested interest in this line, from the President of Blitzway to BlueFin, to the Retailers, like us, to the end consumer, is feeling the burn on this one.

I guess the explosion of excitement for orders on this definitely is a contributing factor to this getting delayed so long. These looked great at comic con, so there's no reason to think they won't look that good in person. It's just the sheer volume of orders they gotta fill that's holding it up.

I really hope they get into more classics, and have a better understanding on the interest they have before they put it up for order.

Sounds like an extra 3 or so weeks but the fact that Steve is flying out to Cali to ship proves it isn't due to lack of effort on his part. I'm impressed.

His and all retailers hands have been tied over this. It's BW's fault, but it's due to not being prepared. I can't say I blame them. When I think of grail figures that pretty much everyone would want, GB would be in the top 5.

I have a pending charge on my credit card from yesterday from timewalker for my final payment(I did the payment plan) and I never responded to his email saying contact them if we wanted to pay on a specific date so I would think those who have not seen the charge yet should start seeing it soon as I am sure it takes time for them to go through and process these payments.

So from what I'm reading it doesn't start it's trek across ocean until Tuesday right. Then it's 3 weeks or so til it hits US right. So we're looking first of October most likely. Is that what everyone else understands from recent posts?

So a few weeks more or by end of september for most U.s fans depending where you ordered from. I think blitzway needs a good fb media person to just put out more pics & info to please the fandom they create by them doing more nostalgic films we All love. They our showing the love doing older movie's instead of brand new movie line's that usually get pushed to the front line of production to sell at hype of movie's. I wish hot toys would do this more as in more movie classic favorite icon's. Anyway always great info from Timewalker toys one of most helpfull friendly cool shops i ever bought from.
