Why would there be a second run when ebay will be full of individual GB packs for a long time once they actually drop?

I will likely have a 4 pack on there as well as many others...they shouldn't be hard to find.

My thoughts as well. I think many people who got these got four and three packs.

Only one I can see being a bit difficult to find, or at least pricier than the others on the secondary market, is Winston. Buyers of the three pack may eventually decide they want to add him and since there's an entire pack dedicated to his absence, makes sense there'd be less of him in circulation.

Other three I'd imagine would be plentiful as individuals.

I'm glad people think these will be plentiful. I would like to get a second Venkman to use the head with that Soldier Story suit, if it ever gets made.

My belief is that all 1/6 producers are tired of the secondary market getting triple what they charge.

Hot Toys is clearly working against this trend....if a new release is sold out amd suddenly appearing on ebay for 3-4x the retail price...my guess is these manufacturers would without a doubt do a second run to cash in on the demand, rather than see scalper get it .

I believe we have seen this already from HT with Han and Chewie....I think it will become more common from now on.

Steven at Timewalker said there will be a second shipment of these and the waitlisters will get theirs from that shipment. It's not a second run, but just another shipment.

That’s exactly correct. There will be no official second run of the sets, or the singles. Not trying to scare folks, but that is the truth unfortunately.

That's interesting. Thanks for validating Xipotec's comments (I can never get how to multi-quite or I would have quoted those too!).

Doesn't it make the product less compelling though if people think they have a while to buy it? These things are so expensive that their aura of exclusivity is part of what sells them, without that they will become less desirable.

But still time for people to get in on waitlists, cancellations etc if they're quick - I know because that's what I did.

Yeah I used to feel this way, but it’s starting to wain....I realize I am just happy to see them on my shelves.

Granted , it’s nice when a figure holds its value in case you want to sell it a few years later. Must of the Avengers stuff is tanking hard. The classic figures are holding value.

I think HT decided to do a second run on Jack Sparrow for the above mentioned reason as well. Jack is one of the most sought after sculpts on ebays and commands a high price. That price has been steadily dropping now.

Anybody have an estimate for how much these will go for on the secondary market, ebay, etc? I'm expecting them to be around 300ish a pop. I'm expecting to love my first two and then if I do, and I can afford it, i'll get the other two but i'm trying to mentally prepare myself for the how of it.

Hope so. I'm kind of in a position where I can't afford to add more orders till at least December or January as I'm paying final payments on 2 or 3 this month.

Had a bad day at work so I cheered myself up by getting tipsy and watching the first movie today before bed

If Winston does end up at 300 I hope he doesn't go too much higher. I know eventually they all will but I hope the first 6 months that they're plentiful they all hold a bit for those who couldn't buy the 4pack or 3packs.
