UPS is having trouble due to the fires......

To those complaining about ups, my wife had her medicine delivered today. It had signature required on the delivery. Well the delivery driver decided to leave it at a neighbors and let them sign for it. Ups will be getting an angry call from me tomorrow because they should not be doing that especially on a signature required package. It contained 8k in medicine and if the neighbor was not nice and brought it to us, UPS would be on the hook for the cost of it.

what QC issues?

The buckle that latches across the bell from the proton pack is EXTREMELY fragile. Mine on Venkmen are hardly even hanging on. I'm going to just break them off and reglue them.
My Ray has a mark on the back of his head. Venkmen's suit has a blotch of some kinda paint on the back.

I'm about to open Winston.

Egon was perfect.

Those buckles really are a pain in the ass. It's a miracle I didn't break mine. Don't waste your time fastening it on Venkman. Most reference pics will show he doesn't have his buckled.

Sounds like these are too fragile to even handle being taken out of the box. :lol

I'm likely going to receive mine tomorrow, and based on some of these issues, I'm kind of going from expecting excitement, to expecting disappointment.

It's the main sticking point with me. I could half ignore the rest of the issues, but the plastic is so ****ing low end. The slightest jossle and it snaps. I'll still try to remedy it with super glue.

Winston is good, but his one arm is a bit loose. Oh well. He is one of the burnt Winstons unfortunately.

Which ones? All the reference pics I've seen from both the Slimer and Gozer busts, all of the guys have it buckled.

Been tinkering with my four pack. Still a ways to go for each 'buster, but figured I'd post a wip shot for anyone on the fence:) These guys really are amazing in hand!

If anybody is looking for soft tip tweezers, I found some at Michael's. They have a teal colored PVC plastic coated tip. They're the curved needle nosed 6" style. I've been using regular all metal tweezers since the late 90's on my 1/6 soft goods parts and never had any damage occurred. I was just curious and it took forever to track down a store that carries them. So if anybody doesn't want to go through the trouble of paying more money/ordering them, hopefully your local Michael's will have the $5 ones I got. I'd upload a pic, but I haven't been able to do that lately.

Hey, are you on ebay as chalor too? If you are I think I bought something from you.

Yup, got that kick in the groin yesterday due to the L.A. area fires.

Good news is they are now on the truck and should arrive @ 7pm.
I'm getting my pack today too. Should have received them yesterday, but got the delay. Guess everything is getting rerouted to other hubs 'cause where mine was scanned is nowhere near the fires.

Nice! The first shots I've seen of the wand attached to the belt. Did you have to do any modifications to acheive that?

You were even able to pop the back of the collar as well. That really is a nice, screen accurate looking Spengler. Well done.
