The barrier will go well with the Ecto-1, indeed.

New license will be announced in the next two months. I asked Blitzway today.

Not Rocky though? Ah well. Maybe down the road a bit.

On Facebook a while back a popular customizer (let's call him DK) said that he considered making custom Jaws figures, but decided not to because someone else was trying to obtain the license. Since Blitzway finally nailed down the 1/6 Ghostbusters license, there's hope for other licenses and likeness rights that seem to be unobtainable or that are otherwise ignored (The Matrix, for instance, assuming Hot Toys isn't still sitting on it).

Really?! That makes it certainly a possibility. And if it isn't Blitzway, it could be another company like QMX which would be equally exciting.

I think Winston will turn into at Two Face of the GB line......he will be the one everyone is hunting in a few years.

I am sitting here budgeting out my 2017 figure and you a$$hats have to go an mention Blitzway might do JAWS??????? Are you insane? I am sitting her thinking there is no real license that would break my budget, never once thinking of Quint, Hooper and Brody.....never mind Bruce.....

Now I have to pray that if it is Jaws....they look terrible or release in 2018. Or I will be offering "services" on the street to pay for them.

Jaws would be awesome. Another line with huge appeal among movie fans and collectors, but not contemporary and flashy enough for Hot Toys to touch.

I have one of their 1/6 scale sharks - really amazing piece.

Jaws would be cool, but I worry it just doesn't have the depth of buyers that GB and BTTF has. The other issue is it's a bit like GB in that there's no real "lead" character (and at least Murray is still a kinda-star today, none of the Jaws guys are,) more evenly split between the three guys, and it would also be tough for BW to do the nemesis of the movie because it'd be huge.

With Blade Runner II coming next year, I think Blade Runner would be a more obvious bet for BW's new license because HF just had his "sci-fi" swan song with TFA and you could also do one or two other cool BR figures like Daryl Hannah and Rutger Hauer's characters, plus even do the spinner car because we've got a major trend going for eighties iconic sci-fi/fantasy cars being done in 1/6.

GB got this treatment because of the de-boot lol) so BR will too with its sequel.

BW doing Deckard, the Spinner and Pris would be very cool.

Very good points Talibane. You're right, unfortunately I don't think Jaws has quite the wider appeal that Ghostbusters has. Close, but not quite at the same level.

But Rydeck's news does give me a lot of hope that a big company will do Jaws justice some day.

I do really hope we see Blade Runner figures. If Blitzway nailed a 1/6 Deckard...
