Man that Ecto-1 is beautiful. Whats really nice, is this car's appeal goes past 1/6 figures collectors. Such an iconic vehicle in it's own right they should not have any issues selling this car.

How cool is a display of the Ecto-1, Delorean and 89 Batmobile going to look? Trying to think of what other iconic pieces (outside 66 Batmobile) would be.

Maybe A-team van and KITT? General Lee?

The General Lee. It was so obvious. But youd have to have a 1/6 bo and luke. Not sure i have that level of commitment.

The 1959 Cadillac Superior Ambulance was 251" long, so if the movie version was the same Blitzway's ought to be almost 42".

It's pretty amazing that we get this and The Delorean, plus the figures to go along with them. Reason enough to get back into this hobby after years and years with basically Marvel and DC.
Film characters from the 80's was the reason i started collecting these things to begin with.

do not have space (nor do I know when I will) for this.

but I do know I will preorder this Day 1 in the hopes of having a proper display for this in the future - rather pay for this upfront than who knows what the secondary market prices will be a few years down the road.

Looks good so far.

After owning the 89 Batmobile and Tumbler for a few years before selling them, not sure I would ever do 1/6 vehicles again. The idea of having them sounds great, but when you actually have them, they are quite the pain in the a$$. After dropping that kind of coin, you have to invest in a proper display case which will cost most people at least another $200-$300. If you don't you end up dusting the thing every other day. Then you have to find a place to actually display it. Once you get it in there you almost never handle it again because of the fear of breaking something. Not sure how Blitzway will compare to HT in quality but to me all HT vehicles felt like blown up plastic model kits. Also the idea of sitting $1000 worth of 1/6 figures inside seems a little silly. I doubt anyone would leave them in the car.

This is a very tempting piece. Love the echo-1. Afraid of the price tag though. I have a steaming suspicion that this will be around $1,000, but unlike a HT vehicle, this will fully light up everywhere lights existed on the original in the film.
