I think you just put me over the edge and sold one great pics! Takes my worries away. (as did that video i posted)
Glad to help man.
Great shots, Toys, your best yet IMO! I really dig mine, tried to take a few shots but lens distortion ruins the pics, need a really good camera to come close to capturing this sick headsculpt.
Thanks brother.
Any feedback on the pics I posted? I'm just getting into the wonderful world of photography and processing in Lightroom, so any pointers would be great!

Definitely good photos my friend. It's all about the lighting.

Thanks everybody! I found that split toning was my friend with this set to get that somewhat gritty look.

Glad to see everyone getting rewarded for sticking it out with Blitzway after TylerGate photo crap....

I am fully expecting the same fun with the Ghostbusters set..

If you are on the fence with the red jacket version.. don't be. (don't own fur coat)

The figure is incredible in hand. FOTY contender.

Does anyone else thinks that the red jacket is very tight especially under the arms and the chest?

To me this shows off the HS in some of the most natural ways.

I actually don't like how it looks here, the sculpt looks quite skinny, I prefer de@df00l and I am toys pics as the sculpt looks fine in them.

I think we are past the point now of whether or not this is a good sculpt because it clearly looks like it is. I am pretty sure if Blitzway never showed the proto pics , most people would be in awe that a company could produce a sculpt with such good likeness to Brad Pitt.

I agree. It is a tight fit, but I'm more concerned about the misaligned pockets and awkward angle under the pocket on mine.

^^^ I think I may have to use the iminime jacket and see if that fits better cause in spite of some decent futzing the bw jacket seems tight and gives a very narrow image on the chest area.

Congrats Bruce!

Yeah, one of the best likeness sculpts from a world class sculptor. Guys, anyone on the fence, get it soon (during release window) because It'll be hard to find for under $350-400 in a couple years.

Probably by end of this year i would say.

BBTS has 18 left.. Well now 17:)

I threw more than my fair share of gasoline on the fire that was TylerGate on the day that that first picture came out. My figure is arriving tomorrow and I hope to be pleased enough to eat some crow and begin a subsequent apology tour...based on the latest pictures I am fully expecting to!

Where you order from?

I actually just picked it up directly from Amazon...they have it on stock (not through a third party but from Amazon themselves) it is $249.99 like everywhere else but I am an Amazon Prime member so I get free two day shipping which gets my figure to me cheaper...and most importantly faster than everywhere else...I am in Florida so my stuff usually comes from the West Coast and takes almost a week to get to me.

I still think these re-taken shots of the figure by David Cheng at TNS are best I've seen so far, and based on these, I will definitely be be keeping my POs. I have gripes with some of the detailing on the clothes, however the head sculpt looks f--king phenomenal to me imo. The heads sculpt is a little softer, however as everyone who has been collecting for years knows, that is absolutely expected. Lots of other pics I've seen have either too much light, too much of a particular filter applied, or the damn flash on. How David took these pics is almost how I would take them with just about similar light, so I can almost guarantee, at least to myself that this is how the head sculpt looks. So again, based on these pics, I think the head sculpt is definitely HT quality, so I am extremely excited to receive this. Yay me. Lol. This is the best version of fight club figures you are ever going to get. Love it or leave it...literally.

I am preparing to do the exact same thing......I got alot of gift cards for my birthday........
Would only pay like $70 OOP for this.

I will listen to your experience....and decide....

I figure you are a great yard stick for how good it really is. I was on the defense during "Tylergate", but never thought about buying him. I had too many other 2017 items on my list....now however...I just might based on the pics, a curmudgeons review and my generous relatives.

These pics are super duper swaying tough

Well I can definitely tell you that I have never been so happy to be so wrong! This figure is a work of art! I think back to some of my truly unreasonable criticism based upon the early pictures, particularly of the figure's hair (which is excellent in person) and am happy to report that I missed the mark. The photos that have been taken are great (they sold me in fact) but the figure truly shines the most in hand. It is currently sharing a shelf with my Wasteland Ranger and I am struggling with which is my favorite 2016 figure now! Accessories, packaging, and figure itself all took me back to an excitement in my earlier days of 1/6 collecting that I have not felt with a lot of Hot Toys releases as of late. This is an awesome figure and could not have been better had it come from Hot Toys, who definitely have a very strong rival now. This gets me even more excited for Ghostbusters than I already was and chomping at the bit for what Blitzway will announce next!

Congrats, jal -- yeah, so glad you got your collecting mojo back. Like me, I've been looking for something special and collecting mostly Hot Toys figures got a bit stale, plus they can no longer be trusted -- too many broken promises. THIS figure re-ignited my passion for a high quality figure-making. Blitzway is hungry, they have the best sculptor on earth, and I'm sure the GB figs are gonna be craaazy great.

Anyway, this one is SO much fun to simply. just. look at.

I agree Blitzway is the producer to watch.....HT has become Stale in the choice of license.....

Funny, we have similar tastes.....I am also thinking of addi g Tyler to the VTS wasteland ranger spot in my detolfs....(along with The Crow.)
