I wonder if guys who ordered from retailers and had to pay a nrd can get refunded as this, I'm afraid, simply doesn't match what we ordered.

WOW! This is really disappointing! I was told the displays at sdcc were production pieces. So I had really high hopes. They looked amazing! Obviously I was lied to. :(

Guess I will start the wave of hysteria and knee jerk reactions, but it is what it is, I cannot spend over $800 for Ghostbusters from a company that in 2016 just put out a 1/6 figure that looks like this...I just canceled my Tyler Durden and Ghostbusters 4 pack pre-orders! Everyone can make fun of me when they get these in hand and love them...but these are not going to work for me because they are not up to par with my current collection...my wife just pointed out the Sideshow Padawan Obi Wan and corrected me for saying that Durden is at Sideshow level...as she said it is actually below Sideshow level....

Is this just bad lighting or are they really that soft looking? These have been two of my most anticipated figures and this is very troubling.

Even for the skin head version he looks exactly like the craft tone one (quality wise). [emoji27]

If you take a good look it is definitely not just the lighting...the sculpt on the mouth of the production piece is notably different than the prototype...the lighting also cannot explain away that terrible looking shirt collar...they dropped the ball on this piece badly.

Taking no chances....cancelled my PO with BBTS as I'm sure many people are. Well in the end this isn't HT and it shows. Back to SW and Marvel and DC....

This really f'n sucks. Lol. I was really exited for this damn release. Not sure how they did this to a beautiful K.A. Kim head sculpt.

I just contacted BW to attempt to get a refund before they ship him to me. If he does end up looking okay, I can order from elsewhere if need be.

This is very disappointing. :(

Please let us know how it goes...I think their response will tell us a lot about the kind of company they are and either earn them a little good will or ensure that many of us never trust them with pre-order money again...which may end up putting them out of business...they have to know that what they put out is not even remotely what they promised in those beautiful prototype pictures.

Yeah, let us know how that turns out. Really interested to see what their answer would be. It's hard to imagine they saw the final head sculpt on the redcoat version and opted not to send it back into production again.

Company had alot of good will on the backs of its previous figures, if they messed this up as badly as it looks, you would be a brave man dropping some serious change on the ghostbusters set, i personally wanted to see this in hand before i bite, now have serious reservations...... for the price i paid, this crap is a joke

Wow! Not good. Most Hong Kong custom knockoffs have better paint apps than that.

Carlito's Way from prototype to production was amazing and probably the threshold people had expectation wise with Blitzway. Seeing how soft and cheap these came out is a major disappointment.

I'll keep my PO to see if any flattering photos show up, but at this point, Blitzway has gone the route of SSC with the old 'bait and switch' routine.

Really hope this was a mistake and it will be fixed and not some cheap cost cutting ploy.

I have been a bit of a Hot Toys purist but the more I look at this the more I think that Blitzway may not be on the current level of other 1/6 companies in general...all of the latest figures from Hot Toys, Star Ace, even Sideshow are all of a higher caliber than what I am seeing in these pictures...I feel really bad for K.A. Kim because truly cheap and sloppy, perhaps inexplicably rushed production have really made this figure into a train wreck...
