Hard to judge. I don't know why companies don't release professional quality photos of their products before releasing them. It would do their work justice and there be no need to overanalyze blurry pics with poor lighting.

Damn, the final product is absolutely HORRIBLE in my opinion. It honestly looks like some cheap knock off compared to the images they showed during the pre-release period, which is really kind of heart breaking. I thought Blitzway was right up there with Hot Toys based on their Fight Club / Ghostbuster images, but talk about a horrible execution when it came to making production versions.

I have contacted them directly for a refund on mine, as there is no way I am paying $250 for a figure that looks as poor as this. Hopefully they haven't even shipped it yet so I can just get the refund rather than go through the hassle of a return.

This has gotta be one of (if not THE) biggest disappointments of the year when it comes to high profile 1/6 figures.

I tell you what, we have some amazing members on here who take some dynamite photographs of figures when they get them in hand. If I were a company I'd reach out to them to take the initial photographs of a released figure. They'd get review sample just like some reviewers do. That would eliminate a lot of this and cut down on the mass cancellations.

So sadly and disappointingly true...I wish Blitzway executives reviewed threads like this one because I think that they really need to hear this feedback...then again I guess they will get it in the form of cancelled pre-orders...

Just checked their Facebook page and people are pissed. Watch them say nothing about it and release it anyway. A lot of faith has been lost today. I knew it was too perfect. That prototype was sculpted and painted by KA Kim.

When I canceled this and the Ghostbusters 4 pack after mulling these pictures over and over again it marked my two first cancellations in my entire history of collecting...I feel your pain...I guess Hot Toys really spoiled me...I have been used to having production photos stole my excitement...this is the first time they have had such an opposite effect to the point of making me cancel

I don't think it's just the paint app. I think something's off and it's not looking good. I think somehow the spot on likeness in the prototype is compromised in the final sculpt. I think it's the smirk and the nose part. In any case sigh [emoji27]

A picture is worth a thousand words! If Blitzway announced today that due to a problem in the production process this figure will now be retailing at $129.99 we could talk. It still would not be for me because I am protective of the overall quality of my collection, but okay. I cannot fathom how someone who was willing to pay $250 for the prototype (just like I was) can justify spending the same $250 on the "toy" that I see on display in the bottom picture????

To me it looks like the sculpt has lost all detail especially skin texture..... I really hope Blitzway see this and address the concerns.

Same here. I'm not holding out much hope that they'll message me back before shipping.

Luckily, and I'd hate to do this, I'm still within the 180 day Paypal dispute window. I'll give BW a couple days to get back to me first.
