Do people hate on the ep4 han solo? cause that likeness is way way off compared to this.

Plenty of hate posted about that sculpt. And to be fair you got what you ordered there. Han never looked nearly as real as the proto tyler. If anything the production han may have been a bit better than the proto. The drop in quality with tyler here is much steeper than most HT releases imo.

Ok. Thanks. I just spoke to David Cheng over at TNS figures, he said that the next batch will definitely be delayed due to a quality check. He doesn't think that they will be recalling the ones that have already been shipped out because it would be the biggest recall in history. Lol. However I'm happy to get a better figure though. I guess those of us in America who did not directly order from Blitzway and who were expecting it at the end of October, are undoubtably going to be waiting longer now. Oh well.

Unless that date for the end of October is based on the email that retailers have already received. That would be great.

ok my bad, no one is talking about calling them back but they do said that there are going to be a delay due to the quality recheck. As for this I don't think BW will make the head sculpts any better but just prevents the bad ones got ship.

I just spoke to Steve over at time walker. He hasn't heard anything official about a recall. The last official word he got from the American blitzway distributor was that it's on the boat and headed to America as we speak. Looking for arrival still at the end of October. He agreed with me that blitz way definitely needs to handle this differently next time and take a page from hot toys playbook and definitely release production photos done by professional bloggers first. So I'm excited. Can't wait till the end of October! Steve said he will definitely be contacting blitz way again just to make sure there has been no changes, however it may not be until next Monday as the New York City comic con is all this week.

Blitzway may even have the production pieces on display at the convention so we may see it again. C'mon ECTO-1!

Yeah calling back is a false alarm, my bad, but I don't know what to think about the delay, weather they gonna make it look better or just check if some not as-goods are made.I think if the batch that BW already shipped is all they make in one batch, the delay is for they to figure out what they can do to improve them. In second thought if they already make enough product for all batches is it possible for them to ship them twice?

What I meant when I said second batch. Most first batches hit HK. America second. Anyway, I( hope they do a few paint apps tweaks: eyes, hair and this will be just fine. Also, glad this company is doing the right thing. I can only imagine what was going through that office when FB posts went after perhaps, the best sculptor in the world right now because the paint apps fell short.

According to time walker, the second batch heading to the American blitzway distributor is already on the boat on its way here. He's going to follow up with them though to see if there was any changes.

What you didn't hear, though--the quality control people handling the second batch are the guys Sideshow hires for their checks.
