Now I'm even more impatient :lol I'm getting a simple display case made up, should be ready in time for Tony to take up residence in it. And to think the naysayers said it'd never happen...

These pics are just making me feel the burn of passing on Don Vito even more. If only Pacino and DeNiro would give permission for Godfather II figures, I won't make the same mistake again.

Yeah Vito is a killer figure, no doubt. Its one of those pieces that you'd never sell. Literally. For a while there we were getting a (custom) Michael Corleone but thats been delayed or even scrapped. Sucks!

Would love some figures from HEAT: Pacino, DeNiro, Kilmer, Trejo, Voight, Sizemore, Ashley Judd........so many options

I kinda wish HT would pull a Bruce Lee and make a Don Vito Corleone variant in a different suit. If they can re-release the OC Batman with a few extras, why not give Godfather collectors a second chance with a different look?

The original owners would still have his iconic look, and newcomers would still get a chance of having the character in their collection.

Idk if the Godfather has the same global recognition of the other 2, but I'm willing to bet it does not.

Bro you're so right!:hi5:The Don just looks so AWESOME and makes any collection stand out more with him present. He is truly a masterpiece and will be pretty hard to top.I'd NEVER sell my Godfather EX figure!:exactly:

Nah it'd never happen. You know how I know? Its been 2 or 3 days and the new OC Batman thread has 132 pages. I'm not sure the entire HT's Vito Corleone thread has that many pages. Besides I think we just lucked out with Vito ............... i'm sure they only made it to compete with EB.

Really? The film's quotes and images are immediately recognizable to those who haven't even seen the it. It's also considered one of the greatest films of all time around the world, and Brando himself is a cultural icon.

Plus Brando/Godfather >>> Bale/Batman Begins.

Eh, I'm not comparing Brando to Bale. I'm comparing Brando to Batman the character and Bruce Lee the martial arts icon. Everyone instantly recognizes Batman and Bruce Lee, not sure about Brando's Godfather though globally.

Granted, I'm American, but even as a child before ever seeing the movie, I was familiar with the iconography and images if it was ever parodied or references on TV. My dad is actually from Iran, saw it in theaters and says it was a huge hit over there. He also says the same about Enter the Dragon. So who knows how far the shadow of the Corleone family stretches?
