Statue Blitzway- Bruce Lee 40th Anniversary Tribute Statue (1/3 Scale)

I am surprised so many stores are getting this in, like even some small video game shop is ordering this? No wonder it is sold out on Blitzway.

He ordered one for me...

Yeah but I am still surprized that he was able to order even one just for you as I thought Blitzway had certain distributors and thus, not every store would be able to order it in because there was no distributor for Blitzway in their country. I guess there must be a distributor for Blitzway where u are for that small video game store to order this in. I wonder how many distributors Blizway has over the world, I didn't think they had that many.

I have heard some criticism about his eyes having a "dead" look - but that has only been by people who has only seen this in pictures. What is your takes on this for those who actually have this beautiful statue ? By the way, is the iris all black ?

I ordered it, received an email, then I waited for Blitzway to send me my Invoice and they never did. So assuming their customer service is as good as their product I'm skipping it. Plus the issues with some collectors nun-chucks, damaged bases, etc... It's prob a good pass for me, I haven't had much luck with orders lately and have received a few damaged pieces.
To everyone that receives this without any problems, it's a great piece and congrats.

I'm one of those not overly keen on the ''eyes'',but as you said via photo's.but the guy who repainted the pupils looking left made an instant upgrade on the ''expression'',that's just my view of course.

You mean page 220.... Argh.... Hehe...

I think it is definitely an upgrade - It is so much more alive (though the right eye seems a bit too light. I wonder how it would look if Rorywan had a go on it...

This is just a test I have done in Photoshop with one of Mirak's nice photos (I hope he does not mind it...)

I have not changed the direction of the eyes to make it easier to compare the original black iris with the brown iris. I think it is an improvement.

I've got the statue and am loving it.
Every time I walk past I have to stop and take another look. Maybe its just because its my first 1/3 scale statue ....I don't know. But the extra size and presence of the thing is amazing.

I don't have a problem with the expression. I would have preferred the cheeky grin he used a lot in the Inosanto fight but the expression looks like 'deadly calm' to me rather than blank, like a pro fighter going about his business.

Also, no one mentions the hair ....again not sure if its the larger scale, but its the most detailed hair sculpt I've ever seen.

Well....I ordered from Blitzway the day it went up for pre-order.....who eventually passed it on to Ikon Collectibles ....who passed it on the Popcultcha .... who contacted me to let me know they were now the official distributor and would handle the order for me.

It's not just from people that have seen pictures of it who think this. IMO the expression is lifeless and that is coming from someone who owns this piece. Others that own this may disagree but that's my opinion.

People are having problems with damaged bases? Where did u find this info for all these QC problems? The only QC problem that I have heard of is with the nunchuks not sticking to the arm pits.

It's not just from people that have seen pictures of it who think this. IMO the expression is lifeless and that is coming from someone who owns this piece. Others that own this may disagree but that's my opinion.

Can you tell me if the eyes are all black - and if so, will it help to maybe repaint the iris ?
