As far as I know the claw is indeed the exclusive for early ordering!

I have a feeling you could be right... but I do love that GoD jumpsuit!

Yeah that was the biggest appeal to me.

Oh, so the upper body is polystone after all. I guess that's why I didn't see any of those PVC seams the Enterbay 1:4 statue had. I hope the body-head seam is well hidden, though, as seems to be the case. Likewise, hopefully there won't be any paint differences between both materials.

I am guessing the PVC head is glued to the polystone neck of the body. :dunno

This is so bought.

Didn't know you were a Bruce Lee fan, so you passed on the GOD one?

very nice blitzway.if I'm being picky the soles on bruces shoes should be white and not brown..the 1/4 from EB also got that wrong.
is this worth $100 more than the GOD..not sure.

No the soles are brown in ETD. The only time they are white is when he is in his catsuit and the blue Kung fu outfit.

I'm wondering if the spec is a mistake, simply cut and pasted from the GoD one.
Those pics are either all amazingly angled to perfectly hide a seam right behind the jawbone or that head is polystone and part of the statue.
I think maybe the hair is the separate PVC piece.

Personally I think the head is PVC because these types of hybrid's statues are blitzway calling card and thus, this is what separates them from other statues like the ones made by Sideshow. Therefore, I doubt they would make a statue that was totally polystone like the other ones because the PVC heads are what make they statues look realistic and this is why Blitzway does this.

FYI that is $1100 Australian not USD. I am sure this statue will almost be half that ( in USD) when it hits the US.

Kinda seems like a waste of a statue to attempt this, but I'd be curious to see this sculpt, repainted, & maybe wigged with the right hair style, to fit the 'Game Of Death' statue.

$1100 Australian is still a sizeable chunk of change, around $900. Even the free shipping doesn't make this anything like the $675 BBTS has it listed for.

Except for the approx $376 shipping fee from BBTS (approx $504 for me :thud:).

I placed a pre order there to at least have it placed somewhere for now, but I want to see if it will be offered locally like the previous Blitzway statue was. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to go through with that BBTS purchase if that indeed turns out to be the actual shipping cost.

Yeh, BBTS is fine as a local buy, not so much for those of us living at the arse end of the world.

There is that, a bright side to having our dollar lose nearly 10% against the greenback in 3 or 4 months. Goodbye parity, you're just a sweet dream now...

Yeah but BBTS orders in bulk that is why they can offer it at the roughly the RRP like most US stores.

I know it would probably end up costing us the same amount Pop is charging if we ordered it from them, because this would cost hundreds to ship from the US! :horror

Even if we were close to parity like earlier this year when the GOD statue came out it was nearly $1000 then. It's not so much the exchange rate that is the problem but the fact that POP is including the shipping in the cost of the statue.

The head seems to be attached by magnets, so there should definitely be a seam. And the difference in paint job/texture could be an issue regardless, but I'm confident Blitzway will pull it off.

1. Spec.
1. Head, Hair : PVC & Magnet
2. Body : Skin effect Polystone & Magnet
3. Shoes : PVC & fabric socks
4. Diorama Base : Polystone
5. Costume : Fabric
6. Package : Color EPP + Color Box

Ah, okay koala dollars. It's $675 here at BBTS, pricey but looks pure quality.

Hopefully, they'll tackle a dynamic BL pose on one of their pieces someday.

Yeah but you will most likely only see it on certain angles.

Their first one was high quality but the paint job is not as realistic as the paint jobs on some of EB's and Hot Toys figures. I am hoping for this release Blitzway will step up and that the paint job will look as realistic as some of EB's head sculpts like the EB Joker and their BD Terminator.

Yeah. I hope they step it up for a sculpt like this! :) I'm with you on that DA!

Well, that's obviously the case, if we're to go by all those pics. :)

Yeah it is not real noticeable from front on.

check when bruce fights han steve, the soles are white when he kicks him in the head a couple of times.then they appear brown..then turn white again...bad continuity there methinks.

Oh so they switch back and forth?

So in this stepping pose the statue has the soles on his shoes should be white in order to be scene specific?
