When he smashes the mirrors you can see white soles.so as bruce has all his cuts his soles should be white..but its me being pickey as I said..no real issue.

$100 Australian sounds about right ..... Statue plus shipping equals $1050 if you do it from BBTS.
Popcultcha are carrying the shipping damage risk and the upfront cost.
The GoD statue they sell for $900 and this is statue is more expensive + our exchange rate is dropping unfortunately....

The only difference for me is the pose of the head comparing the statue with the picture but for the rest a awesome statue and a must of have as a real Bruce Lee fan.
The Exclusive with the claw is not really a must have for me so I wait for ordering from a local shop.

Yeah but BBTS orders in bulk that is why they can offer it at the roughly the RRP like most US stores.

I know it would probably end up costing us the same amount Pop is charging if we ordered it from them, because this would cost hundreds to ship from the US!

Even if we were close to parity like earlier this year when the GOD statue came out it was nearly $1000 then. It's not so much the exchange rate that is the problem but the fact that POP is including the shipping in the cost of the statue.

Pop has always been pricey compared with buying from Asia - they're only good value when they have a sale on. I've never bought a single thing from them, much as I'd love to support a local store.

Yes they tend to price a bit above what you can stuff for independently through ebay or Asian websites.
Only ordered a couple of things from them because for 1/6 stuff its easy enough through ebay....

But 1/3 scale is enormous and like Blitzway's first statue, these are expensive pieces. The peace of mind of a local Victorian distributor is suddenly a lot more attractive

Yep, peace of mind is important. I'm way out of the market for this, but I'd be tempted to buy local for this particular piece.

I remember when I saw that, I thought why do his soles look white there? But because they looked brown for the most part I thought it might of been the lighting or something, so I didn't give it a second thought. Nevertheless, it is obviously an error in making the movie because it is not like he would of swapped his shoes so he could fight Han in the hall of mirrors.

This would cost a few hundred to ship from the US or Asia so I don't think it makes a difference whether you buy from Pop or Asia and the US as it will still end up costing over $1000 Australian dollars. The shipping is what makes this statue expensive for us Aussies because unfortunately no store here will buy this statue in bulk quantities like the US stores do.
Thus, they include the shipping price of what ikon paid in the price of the statue, which is why they can't sell it for the RRP.

i'm looking around the $800usd mark or approx. £500 to get this.although it is indeed a cracker from blitzway,I'm in no rush to PO this,Hans claw doesn't matter to me.so I can wait until march/april when UK/EU sellers have this(already enquired with my 1st bruce blitway retailer)

Not too bad only $100 more than the RRP. So now you will have to buy another display case to put this in. So space isn't an issue with you?

I've already condensed my collection to make room for the GOD statue.so if/when I get this(if I'm still working due to health issues) some more room will need to be found.regarding a case i'll have to enquire whether james can ship and how much.but going by this statues dimensions it would fit in a detolf,dependant on the strength/thickness of the glass shelf.but early days yet.

I am interested in this but I would be beyond pissed if I get this and find out there is a ugly seam where the head is attached to the neck. If there is a seam they should show it in these preview pictures instead of trying to trick people.

im expecting the same type of seam as the EB bruce lees.around the chin/ear lines.could be wrong though.is this a seam in the neck of this statue,or bad filling or something?it isn't a natural mark.

^looks like a skin crease to me... there's another just like it, same pic a little lower in the middle.

Hard to see any kind of seams, maybe here in this pic?:

Sorry to hear about your health issues, I am still undecided if I will get this to, yes it is very appealing but I simply don't have room for all these big statues.

For the join/seam to not be visible in that pic, it has to be incredibly fine!
