your no doubt right there steve, but the hands and fingers/thumb look shiny also?lighting will have a bearing on displaying this I think.even the headsculpt looks better in the 1st shot minus the light.

interesting, yeah the closed eyes were a real no no for me,a fully haired and painted bruce would be interesting to see.i'll keep an eye out.depends on the cost and how I feel at that time, but thanks for the heads up.

I have asked him price and am waiting to hear. Iv seen the raw bust and it looks awesome. I can get you a pic of the half, opened eyed life cast to give you an idea. Just gicing you the heads up as you are a huge BL fan, I reckon this would top them all.

This is his modded life cast he did years ago just to give you an idea. His new version will be sculpted slightly different, haired different , painted better....
He uses tech optic eyes and the great thing with this is you can have them positioned how you like. Spoke to him today and he said he was just adding the finishing touches to him so it should be ready real soon. Just some food for thought ;)

yep that's a 60's bruce no doubt, great job on the eyes/hair and paint.interesting to see how his 70's version (ETD/GOD..bigger hair?) turns out.the face would need to be slimmer as bruce lost loads of weight after green hornet, that maybe difficult.but thanks again.

You have probably seen his work with his terminator and Michael Jackson busts ( Godaiking ) I know he has resculpted a fair bit so no doubt it will look more defined . His work he did from t3 to t1 was insane. He will probably be to what you want ie shorter, longer..... and will be easier as it will be a full bust. Anyway, just thought id give the heads up. Im definitely thinking of getting one and I can vouch for his work. This would probably be the most definitive piece ul get imo. keep a look at .

Price will probably be dictated by how he does on ebay. I do think it will sell well tho. And, it will be worth it. Iv had 2 of his pieces, own 1 now and they are superb, great attention to detail.

Look forward to hearing your thoughts when you get the statue. If I can make space for him, il prob get it.

another great collection:horror...I'm sure this collector will get blitzway's statue..:)

You know I will mrchris here are my GOD Blitzway :) 10156058_470328916401990_2050535519_n.jpg

And for the record, I don't fancy myself a collector, I just love Bruce Lee

Im thinking thats partly it but also I think the translucent body is maybe giving it the plasticky look in too much light, kinda like the closeup of his hand that 30cm posted a while back

I think the nature of the statue is that the exposed body will always have some kind of sheen to it if it is not made from rubber or silicone.
Possibly the paint they have used is not very matt either which won't help with shine.
I do think though, that a matt spray will negate some degree of shine and also add subtle texture which may help with the appearance of the skin.

Do you know if the bust will be silicone?
High quality ones are extremely lifelike but can also go for around the 4 - 5k mark.
Painted resin versions are much cheaper but also less realistic with skin appearance, which at 1:1 size is obviously more of a consideration.

His MJ busts are really, really stunning, the best I have seen for likeness and finishing.
Not such a fan of the Bruce though...

well said buddy:),same here just ''collector'' seems the word most commonly used.stunning setup and BOTH GOD's:horror.

From the photos posted it looks like the base fits in a detolf.

the base is approx. 14''W/D(that's going by blitzway)a collector on youtube stated 13''W/D.most detolfs are around 14.5'' W/D so yeah he'd fit.
although at about 10/12 kilos not sure if an upper glass shelf would support him.

Thanks for the kind words, I spoke with Arnie the day those pictures surfaced and I asked him what does he think about the final result, he was not happy.

Here is the HD 1002 and 1003 before I added the WOD 1/4 figure, sorry for the bad photo
