The statue in the video looks normal to me. Mine also had a slight lean like that. It's the stance he is in. It's more/less visible depending on the angle you're viewing it at.

I believe it's the footpeg causing the lean Chris. With a pose like this, you're bound to get varying degrees of the lean, as the footpeg is cast into the statue on an angle, so I doubt you'll get 2 statues that are identical. I think if there's a slight lean and you're put off by it, you can probably correct it by placing a small object under the foot.

SAB mentioned the small sticker that sits over the peg hole in the base and that it's supposed to be punctured. I wasn't actually aware of this and removed mine altogether. I'm wondering if it's because of this that SAB's sits perfect. Maybe the sticker is actually supposed to be there and helps keep the statue at the correct angle. The peg sits kind of loose in the hole and you can rock the statue back and forth slightly. I noticed on mine he would look more or less straight as I rocked him back and forth, depending on which direction. Made me think if I rocked him towards the angle that makes him look more straight and placed something under the foot it would keep him that way. I'm wondering if the sticker would do this. I'm interested to know if nongshim removed the sticker from his as well (FYI, the sticker is a small disc that actually has some thickness to it).

funny I thought I would hate the inaccurate cuts and not mind the sweat and in hand it ends up being the opposite. I'm working on a mirrors mockup to see how its gonna look before ordering the acrylic, will hopefully post pics soon.

Does anyone know if Blitzway is going to continue with these 1/3 Bruce Lee statues?

I'm interested in picking this one up but if there'd be a Way of the Dragon version I would probably prefer that since it's my fav BL movie

there may be a possibility of the 3 remaining films getting done, maybe later in the year (sept)or so for blitzway to announce something,

So I received my replacement statue from Pop Cultcha and just finished setting it up. First thing I did was check the chin area as that's where the fault was on mine, and it is indeed better on this and looks more like SAB's, however the right side of his face doesn't quite sit perfectly with the neck, lol, but the other side sits nicer. On my original piece, it was the opposite. Thankfully, it's mainly noticeable when looking from the back of the statue as the ill-fitting area is towards the back of the jaw, so doesn't appear to be a problem when viewing from the side, but I will know better when I see it in natural light. I really hope it's not a problem as that's the main side that I like to view this.

Rest of the statue seems OK from what I can see. Paint job looks more or less identical really. There's a coup of little minor flaws/imperfections. My original piece had some too though. It does appear to have a slight lean, but I don't think it looks any different to my previous one from what I can remember. That had a slight lean also. I'm pretty sure it's an optical illusion. The angle of his legs make it appear like he is leaning to the left (when viewing from the front), but the torso looks fairly straight (with a very slight bias towards the left). The angle you view it at makes a difference too.

All in all, it doesn't really seem much better than my original piece really. It's better in some areas, worse in others. Much of the same really, and probably wasn't worth the effort of sending my original back to be honest. If anything, I think my original may have had a slightly better overall finish than this one (with the exception of the chin area). I just felt that one was pretty much perfect apart from the chin, but that chin area did bug me a lot.

I think Pop Cultcha are right, in regards to the finish on the head sculpt. I don't think any of them will have a perfectly flush finish all the way around. Due to the way in which Blitzway designed this, I think they will all have a slightly imperfect fit to some degree. Some maybe worse than others. It's just a poor design choice, and if you're super fussy, I think the only way to fix the problem properly is to fill the area slightly with putty and then paint. I may end up doing this at some point as it's a fairly thin area so I don't think it would be too hard to do.

still waiting on mine.was hoping for an email/invoice but not as yet:(.yeah as you said mate the seam is gonna be pretty much hit and miss on this.i've some fine putty lined up for this if I feel it will bug me too much.

Hope you get yours soon mate and I wish you the best of luck. Hope you get a good one, as I know you won't have the option of sending it back like I did.

I guess it is another mass produced collectable at the end of the day, and they will all have some flaws to some extent. You just hope that the flaws you get are fairly minimal and something you can live with. I think it's unrealistic in this hobby to expect an absolutely perfect piece without a single flaw.

I do hope you luck out though and receive a well done finish on yours.

Lost the buzz about this at the mo.but hopefully it will come back when I get the news.if it needs messing with I'll give it a go.

Glad you got a replacement . On many occasion I found when I get a replacement . I get the feeling too that the original will have certain bits I liked better:lol

Sorry to hear you still waiting on this Chris. This been released over two months now closer to three months? Should have arrived at your door .:lecture
I know some of you are thinking hiding the bottom abs scar . But the trousers doesn't budge much . Due to tight calf fitting. And socks cover just the ankle .lift any higher it start to show the unpainted leg shins. The leg is unpainted it's just clear white translucent . Perhaps can hide with help of black sash belt ?
Think just better painted scar will improve this to another level already.

Is the small disc sticker supposed to be put into the hole for the foot peg? When I received mine it wasn't stuck on properly to the base so I figured that you needed to remove the sticker to reveal the hole so you can insert the foot peg.

So how is this sticker supposed to be used?

I don't have the statue but I gather you have the sticker covering the hole and then punch the foot peg through it, so it results in a fairly tight fit that should tighten up any exaggerated lean.

Hey bro,

The base comes with the sticker over the hole, and the centre punches out really easily to reveal the hole in the base and then you insert the figure into the base. On my original piece, I wasn't actually aware of this and didn't know what it was for, so I removed it altogether lol. I only realised what it was for when SAB mentioned it. I just got my replacement yesterday and I punched out the hole in the sticker pretty easily with my finger. Basically what you should end up with is a circle sticker surrounding the hole in the base, with the hole exposed. The hole in the sticker is slightly smaller than the hole in the base, so you may need to twist the figure back and forth whilst pushing down to ensure it goes in all the way.

Did you get your replacement yet? If so, what is it like? Does it lean like your original one?

I wasn't at home when they delivered it so I have to collect it from the post office. So you're not supposed to throw the smaller circle disc away? It's supposed to be pushed into the foot peg hole? I removed mine on the original piece as I figured it was just there to cover the hole until you wanted to put the statue in.

Also on my original piece the hole in the sticker was the same size as the hole in the base. So there was no twisting the statue to get it in. The foot peg was the exact size of the hole in the base if you know what I mean.

Nothing goes into the peg hole. You remove the centre piece from the sticker and pop the figure in. Sounds like you did it right the first time.
