Looks straight up and down in those pics Shoo posted. Not really a lean at all there and it is right in the centre of the base where it should be.
The proto never showed a lean either when looking directly front on.
I'd say it is small variances in foot peg angle, hole angle below the surface or a combo of both that is determining who gets a lean and who doesn't.

I agree with you there.a little fiddling will hopefully sort it.but this sort of thing shouldn't happen, after all it aint cheap and I would of thought QC should have picked any angle issues up.

Oh ok. Then what's this talk about needing to puncture the sticker with the foot peg?

I thought you guys meant some of the sticker should go in the hole underneath the foot peg

hahaha nah, I don't think it matters man and won't make a difference to how the statue sits. Just need to expose the hole basically.

It is my first upload an image of a figure, thanks to the images that went up xpl0sive, avoid canceling the purchase order this beautiful figure of legend, place a poster to buy in 1987, when very young age and I never imagined that 28 years later a figure out of the poster, I recommend to those who have not bought this figure is super .......

So I've looked at a lot of pics of this and analyzed the statue closely to see what's causing the lean and why some look different, and I think it's due to the pin being cast at a bit of an angle on some of them. What I noticed on mine is that the back foot is slightly leaning on one side, it's not perfectly flat on the floor (talking about the front half of the foot here). On another statue I seen that looked straight, the foot was almost flat on the base. I believe when the pin is cast straight, the back foot should be almost flat on the base, and this will result in the statue appearing straight. In saying this, the difference is probably 3-4mm, so there's not a lot in it.

For some reason, when I take pics of it, it appears straighter in the pics than it does in real life. The angle I view it at makes it less/more prominent as well, so it's definitely a bit of an optical illusion.

So I opened up my replacement from popcultcha and there is a lean to it. I put the small black disc into the hole and shoved the foot peg on to it but it didn't make a difference. The front foot on mine isn't really firm to the base. It just slightly touches it. I can definitely sway the statue left and right. I think the hole in the base has been drilled too wide or something.

I seriously can't be stuffed sending this back to popcultcha again. So I kept on rotating the statue until the lean isn't so apparent. It comes off straighter in photos than in real life. I put him in the detolf - he just fits in. The lean isn't really noticeable when he's in the detolf. I suppose I could use blutac in the hole to make the statue straighter but I'm ok with the way it looks now. I just think Blitzway should have done better QC.

I'm liking what (arrovve) from the collectors club forum has done to the base...

That looks awesome! Would love to see a pic of Bruce on it for the full effect. Seems like a pretty easy mod too.

Finally did a mockup for my mirrors, nowhere near done yet, just made it so I know how its gonna work. Its made of mdf with aluminum foil to see if the reflections are gonna give the same effect as the movie and it looks like a success. Ive never worked with mirrored or any kind of acrylic before so cheers to not fouling it all up :lol

I know in the movie the mirror is either scored or in 3 different sections or angles. Im not sure how the angles go, if theyre slightly more inward or angled slightly downward/upward.

Whoever this is looks like they got it right-

I may just go for a straight forward, clean, one piece effect like at the Bruce Lee museum cuz I really have no idea what I'm doing :duh

good idea on the mirror's mate.i went for 4 panels approx. 4'' wide back and side for mine(no statue as yet)but it gives a similar effect.how figures have changed since the one above..mind you the hair on that looks better:lolhere's another pic of that good looking base.
I thought about doing it in the junfan gung fu red/yellow,but thought it would be too much, may try a simple white though.

Nice touch on the base! Agree with the mirror effect for ETD display, just perfect background .
Took some pics with detolf lightiing. Does show up the muscle definition . With is not showing under natural lighting in some pics.

it looks better 3rd pic when it's not got a shine on the body.dam that sweat, would look much better without it(or done better)but at least it's not the disaster we 1st saw in the older pics.

yeah, the red yellow would be a little much. If doing this mod, it might look even better to do the same thing to the other side in a marble black laminate. There is even room to maybe add the arrows around it-

btw anybody know the names of the Chinese characters used for Enter the Dragon, I'd like to paint them down one of the sides of the mirrors but its hard to tell the exact shape with the brush font they used-

I just posted these pics to prove the camera does lie :lol only kidding . i was surprised the pics came out looking bit closer to Blitzway,s proto. All pics posted just prove how different light and camera exposure can change the look of this statue.
Like Friendly Samurai pics are just what this statue would look inhand under certain lighting. Oh Friendly Samurai writing in Chinese is roughly translated Dragon battle with tiger.

I still think it's lost some of the proto's ''sneak'' pose, but that could just be how I see it.i agree light is gonna play a big part in displaying this.
are you sure it's dragon battles with tiger not grizzly bear:lol
I'm not sure why lo wei is mentioned on the artbox,as he parted with bruce after FOF...strange.
looks like it's gonna be mid/late next week for my statue,no shipping notice yet:(
