I pre-ordered this piece directly through Blitzway and their website lists a March 2016 release while BBTS lists a 3rd Quarter 2016 release. Which is it? Will BBTS be getting theirs later than those that ordered directly? Just trying to figure out when I'll have to come up with the balance for this piece...

Having ordered from Blitzway directly and being very happy with their final products ..... I'd still take BBT's date as closer to correct :D

I agree, some sellers have it as a July 2016 release, you can bet that come March Blitzway will have it as delayed, every single collectible they've released has been delayed by about six months. If the quality is great, who cares about delays.

I also got that email. I had placed my order on day one and I'm quite certain that there was no NRD required at that time. I'm surprised. That they are going back and spring the NRD to orders that were placed prior to the policy change.

To be clear, it is fine with me some this is a piece that I would never cancel.

Likeness is so good, but I'm not sure about the chosen pose for my taste.

For me the pose isn't even an issue, it's the whole piece isn't my sort of iconic Rocky depiction, belt hoisted from the end of 2, fighting from one, training suit, flag shorts from Rocky 4, those I'd love, but his street clothes in Rocky 2 don't hold much meaning to me, but it'd be awesome if this was just a start, though it'll be interesting to see how sales go, I'd hate for them to have big plans that don't take off because a less popular representation didn't sell as good as expected.

I hear you on Rocky II street clothes, I always wanted Rocky Street from the first film, but what can you do, am getting this because I think the statue is fantastic, plus it's rare when anything Rocky related is even made these days, nobody but Edinho Maga is making Rocky statues, so you can't be picky when a new Rocky collectible is available and hope for something better in the future, you may not live long enough to see it happen.

If you like the belt over the head from Rocky II Endino Maga did a great 1/4 statue, I have it.

If you're looking for new Rocky statues from Blitzway you're probably going to have to wait years for it to happen, this statue was almost three years in development, and Blitzway has only released five collectibles in their brief history, so they work really slow.

I love this representation of Rocky. It's a rare look at him and reminds me of the old NYC days in the 70s-80s.

Agreed, it has that old school 70's look to it, plus you get a chance to have Butkus the dog, can't beat that.

Blitzway have got it for $459 and Secret compass got it for $444.95 its looking good
