That's the problem with Blitzway. Just like Marilyn, we have no idea what the Rocky II ES is.

I would think the edition size has to be around 300 - 350. I think that Blitzway's quality control and attention to detail means that the manufacturing process is very time consuming, which translates to a very low ES. I wonder why they don't number their statues?

I'd say you're off by a pretty large margin IMO
The nice price point and how long the preorder was open likely means it's closer to 3000 than 300.

I mainly collect Rocky and some Rambo collectibles, and every single Rocky collectible that I have purchased over the years usually takes years to sell out on edition sizes of only 500, same goes for Rambo, they just don't sell as well as comic book character collectibles. There is no way in hell that Blitzway is making 3,000 statues when the Rocky license doesn't have that huge an audence at a high price point. How many people love Rocky that much that they will be willing to spend close to $600+ with shipping and custom fees? The quality and attention to detail would also suffer if 3,000 are made, around 500 would be the max, and I hope it's around 350 - 400, in my experience the all around quality of collectibles always goes down when you have edition sizes that go into the thousands.

Just received an email from Blitzway that this statue has been delayed from March to "end of Apr. or the beginning of May". Not too bad of a delay.

Just saw that myself. I was expecting it to be more like the end of the year. Guess there can always be 'further' delays though.

This is actually a pretty detailed, mixed media statue at a very decent price point. I'd be surprised if Blitzway could break even at 500.
Rocky statues have generally been 'non-mixed media' by smaller companies ...and have generally been fairly average. (The Rocky 2 victory one is pretty cool)

Their Bruce Lee and Marilyn statues have been high quality, quite popular and the pre-order for this one was open for a long time. I would be very surprised if it was under 1000 total.

For those still looking, I just got a last call for pre order email from Monstersinmotion.com $459 with $100 deposit.

OK, it seems there's a few US stores I can get this from now, but the shipping is ridiculous.

SAB, what did Blitzway sting you for postage? Some of these American sites are charging a whopping 230 for postage! And that's US dollars too :(

Ouch!
US$60 is what they're charging me for shipping.
South Korea is a lot closer than the US!

It's a shame Popcultcha didn't carry it. I asked them and they actually said 'maybe'. which is amazingly helpful....
I guess they got burned on multiple EtD Lee's being crooked.

I just got an email from Secret Compass saying they are taking pre orders again until March 28.
