Statue BLITZWAY- Rocky II - 1/4th scale

If you bought the statue directly from Blitzway you're getting it in June, but if you bought it from bbts, secret compass or others I would expect it in August.

I was being generous with Aug, wouldn't surprise me if it was Oct. I have no problems with delays because that means better quality control.

Anyone know of anything Rocky coming out after this great statue is released?

The opposite can often be true in this hobby. They can get sloppier over time in subsequent batches.

Fingers crossed everything works out.
Blitzway in the past have used local distributors when ordering directly (at least for product I've ordered from them) and their operational/customer service side seems limited at best!

Am hoping that Rocky (and dog) having a very stable, flat and simple stance means there will be no problems with statue lean like Enter the Dragon Bruce Lee and Marilyn had. Paint and tailoring has been pretty good across releases.

I'm usually the first to defend big bases, like for the Catwoman PF and proposed Prime 1 piece. The difference here though, as much as I like that backdrop, is the statue itself isn't posed in a way to take advantage of it. It would end up as a lot of wasted shelf space, unless one plans to display some other Rocky collectibles around it.

So what you're saying is that the larger base really needs a Frank Stallone statue singing 'Take it back' around a flaming garbage bin.

A big base has many possibilities, I would love to see a big base like this with a replica of Rocky's front door from Rocky 1 with Rocky in the black leather jacket and Adrian at the bottom of the steps, this would make for a great diorama.

Although I loved the original concept for the base, I have to admit that I prefer the detail and smaller footprint of the new base. The icing on the cake is that "Stallion Chicken" flyer on the ground...I absolutely love that detail so I cannot complain at all. If the original base also included the brick building facade along with apartment door, that would have been a different story.
