Thank you for sharing. Portrait looks very good. Your cowl because of the way you attached it to the cape sits better, but the shape of the spikes are sadly still has the same issue. Especially the left side where they are pointing forward. Other side is a better.

By the way you did try the hair dryer trick and the PVC did not soften?
This is after 10 minutes under the hair dryer. Looks good from the front. I'll probably do it again to get it flatter, but it's tricky to get it to match the shape of the bat symbol and get it to cool quickly enough. I think some double sided tape to hold the cape against the body right around the symbol would help too. I understand why they put the symbol on the chest, because the statue is rigid, as is the symbol. The mask is rubbery. Basically like the real mask would be.

Now that's looking good! So it looks like it can be done! How did you heated the cowl? Was it on the statue or did you removed the head for it? Also did you hold it in place and waited for it to cool down naturally? Can you tell me how did you do it exactly? I would like to do this on mine.

The directions say you can heat up at a low setting. I took the head off the body. I set it down and propped up the hair dryer and let it sit and heat up for like 10 minutes. I did it on the inside of the cowl first, which kind of made it flair out more, so I did another several minutes on the outside of the cowl. I shaped it, then held it under cold water. I didn't get the mouth piece wet at all though. I'm going to do another round on it, and this time hold it in place and let it cool down, that's what prime 1 suggests and I may be able to get it perfect at that point.

Looks like they actually paid attention to the real measurements of Keaton in the suit if this comparison is anything to go by (based on the sizes given for both statues on their bases. I put the feet down at the same level to get a rough idea. Keaton was short compared to Reeve's 6ft 4" frame.

At the price of Prime1's Keaton Batman, the collector should not have to be messing around with heating things up to get it to the correct shape. That sucks.
They should have sorted this out before it got to production.

The directions say you can heat up at a low setting. I took the head off the body and did a high setting, I feel like the low setting would take an hour. Thank you Antdiblasi! I really appreciate it! You are a great help! Please if you have time upload photos of the final result. :)

Thank you for sharing! I didn't have time to watch the full video but the guy has basically no gap between the cowl and the cape. I feel like a fool because I freaked out big time. Likness also looks very good in the video. I am wondering if the others just did not put the statue together properly or for some reason they got a faulty piece.

By the way the spikes on the cowl here are not deformed at all.
Looks like his came out of the box in much better shape than mine. After another session under the blow dryer this is the best I could get it.

Great job! I think now it looks pretty much the same like in French guy's review. Maybe his second spikes are touching the cape a little more but basically you fixed it perfectly. Very happy for you. Cannot wait to get mine! I will be very happy with this.

My waitlist just converted for the Batman statue only. Based on the fact that it appears it IS possible to make it look OK, I'm going ahead with the order. Since JND have done Catwoman from Batman Returns, I think the version we'll see from JND will also be Batman Returns. If I'm wrong, I guess I'll just have to upgrade to the JND when / if it gets made. In the meantime, this Prime1 version looks pretty good now.

Also if JND will make one it will be 2026 (they did not announced Keaton Batman for 2025) for preorder earliest. So you are looking for a 2027 delivery.

Congratulations and I hope you are gonna like it in person.
