Sony Pictures & Valiant Comics Close Deal To Bring 'BLOODSHOT' & 'HARBINGER' To The Big Screen
I've seen no talk of Valiant here, which is a shame, since they're currently making the best superhero comics out there. No gimmicks, no continuity issues, only 8 titles that tell some brilliant stories, which aren't the same old stuff we've been reading for ages. So, needles to say, I'm really excited for these movies. I mean, John Wick's directors working on this:
Bloodshot, for those not in the know, is basically a mix between Wolverine and the Punisher. A man with no recollection of his past, infused with nanites who have a "mind" of their own. While under the use of PRS, he did a lot of nasty stuff (killing regular folks, even kids) and now that he's left powerless he's battling with visions, etc... On the surface he's your typical macho guy, but he doesn't behave like a bad-ass unstopable machine. He's a guy with ten different "origins" stuck in his head who has the blood of children on his hands.
Anyway, discuss!
