Repainted my earpiece too.

Recepy: I use GWS paint, in this case 50% iyanden darksun, 35% mythril silver, 15% black.

checking the pics,i dont think the medicom helmet is smaler,or is he?

I'm considering ways of making Boba's jetpack more secure and less prone to falling off at every speedbump. One of my ideas is to attach thin magnets to the pack and his back. Now, just need to find me some magnets.

At first I too had trouble with the jet pack but I think that is because it wasn't hooked all the way in. I lifted up the metal rings so they weren't laying flat on his back and made sure they really hooked to the jet pack. Since then it is really secure and doesn't come off easily at all. I think before I connected it that way, the hooks would catch but not completely.

So, I'm trying to take the helmet apart, cant get any further than getting the earpieces off. Want to at least have the visor off so I can repaint this one.. Any tips?

Eh, too lazy too atm, but basically I pulled all the pieces apart from eachother.

I do not recommend doing it because there is a pretty good chance the plastic would tear.. I think I got lucky.

For repainting purposes its handy though, which is why I did it.

You couldn't just repaint the green that was off? The red parts looked pretty great.

My technique is different. I paint in layers, leaving parts open, creating real scratches instaed of painted on ones.

Resculpted his visor to be more accurate, less long at the sides, give him a more accurate shape. Hated how they nearly touched his earpieces.

I higly recommend resculpting the visors btw. Easy job, and touch it up with a dab of silver or red depending. Really works to make his side views look better.
