My back up plan for possible breakage of that codpiece part was to get a thin strip of plastic (i'd use a styrene offcut, but you could use a scrap from packaging or hell even cardboard would probably work) and glue it over where the 2 parts meet on each side, on the inside.

Given how thin the side is unsupported, I'd hate to glue it without the added strip for support.

i did this mod as well & very happy with the results. collar armor sits nicer, though i need to flatten it a bit more.
i'm also going to install an earth magnet on the rocket pack & plate on the back armor or underneath the belt (haven't decided yet). the jet pack tends to come unhooked just a bit too easy for me.

Cool, it made a big difference with mine.

I was looking at Boba yesterday and realized that I put the neck covering on backwards with the seam in the back.:slap Oh well, I can live with it until I get the urge to mess with him again - which could be awhile since I've got everything else just right now.

Well, I did some trimming, some dipping, some bending, and some squeezing of the braids. He's relaxing in the corner now, drying off.

Some of the "rivets" holding the sheet onto my vest were barely there, and popped off when basically breathed on. They popped back, but aren't 100%. It doesn't seem to change the structural integrity, but I may look into putting a drop of glue on them or something, down the road.

For now, that's enough modding for me for one day.

I had one pop loose on me too... a dab of glue did the trick.

Hey Mortifactor...When you changed to the TT slim body, did you have a problem with the gauntlet on the right arm fitting over the forearm?...I dont know if the forearms on the Narrow Shoulder body are bigger or what, but cant get the gauntlet up far enough to make the hand fit in the wrist hole...Run into any problems with yours?

Matt

Narrow Shoulder TTs have thicker forearms.

Thats what I was afraid of...Im wondering if I cut the part of the sleeve on the uni that the Gauntlet covers, if that would allow more room for it to slide up just enough to fit the glove on...Hate to strip this thing all down again...

Matt

I had no problem with the slim TT. I do believe the narrow TT does have thicker forearms. Maybe sanding them down will help with the fit.

Do you have a rotary tool? that is the easiest way to do it with the sanding attachment, the plastic used on the tt bodies is really hard and hand sand papering felt unfeasible when I last did it for another figure. If you do have a rotary tool try and get some goggles, because burning plastic shrapnel is gonna head your way lol

Other than that, if the gauntlet can fit onto the naked wrist, then that shows it might be worth cutting part of the jumpsuit arm off, leaving enough to tuck into the top of the gauntlet

I received my Boba last week while on vacation and opened this past Saturday.

I took off the vest, snipped it down and actually just used a baby pin in the back to tighten up the vest.

My Boba looks slim now... I am a happy owner now. Thought there was foam under the vest and nothing...

Are the lower part of forearm from the slim and the narrow swapable for it to work?

That's a good question, mah45...Never thought of that...As it is, I ended up grinding down the forearms on my Narrow Shoulder, so I should be ok now...Just need to take some sandpaper to the rough edges...Thankfully, I never plan on using this body again for anything expect Boba...lol...Should have him finished up in a day or two...

Pretty well all non muscular. True types are swappable, just don't force anything and you should be fine, also the HT t 1000 is a narrow shoulder with slim arms

I swapped out the body for a TT slim and its 100% better the armor fits better. It can stand on its own, and the forearms are longer. The only problem I had was the foot peg form the Fett boot was a pain to remove.

Next time, try popping that boot into some hot water first. Then that peg will slip out like it's buttered. :wink1:

How 'bout some pics, Lopie? I'm planning on doing something similar.
