I'm ok with tall bases as along as they make sense. I hate when the character is on a base, and then there is some tiny little thing under that just to elevate it for no reason. Perfect example of this is the Reeves PF...hate the little chess piece thing at the bottom...wtf?! Boba at least feels natural like it was designed that way.

I love the base. I think it makes the entire scene look dynamic and adds to the Cloud City look they're going for. Its a for sure PO for me, no waiting as this is Fett and will fly

I really can't come to like it as much as I try. I think the all white version in the preview initial was a bit nicer. I guess the amount of discussion focusing on the base suggests it is a bit marmite. Boba himself is spectacular however.

Nope he is correct 1:4 scale. The guy in the video is obviously standing on front of the PF... Forced perspective

4:48 and on. He looks to me to be closer to 1/5th. Even more so when I turn around and look at my mythos bobe and the original PF boba.

I think it looks pretty good somewhere between 1:4 and 1:5. I'm also in the minority of liking the base as well!

Yeah I agree with you rnbuda the base is amazing. Only problem is it probably won't fit in a dang besta. Besta users, we will need to support each other in these trying times.

On a related note, the next big sideshow announcement event is Oktoberfest. So hopefully we'll see some star wars statues then. Maybe we'll get some teases in the mean time.

So, the problem is not with the base itself, but because it can't fit inside a Besta? People are funny.

Probably around that or less than 27", but it's really hard to say.
Sorry, I don't have a Besta. I'm not sure of their dimensions.

Ok Slipmagee is here as the unofficial Star Wars PF expert to lend his two cents. This Boba has got to be the best pose of all the PFs. Very dynamic, very natural looking action pose. Looks like he's about to snipe someone. Now as the base is concerned I love it! Finally some actual creativity was involved. It puts the figure in an actual scene for the admirer to use his imagination.
Now for the besta problem. I may have a solution. First off in a standered tall besta the top and bottom shelf are 24in tall and the middle shelf a little bigger at 24 1/2in. The tuskin raider is the tallest PF at just a hair under 27in with the ex rifle not the gaffi stick i was able to display it in besta and make it look great. In a tall besta if you raise the top shelf one notch and lower the second shelf by one notch you will have 27in clearance in the middle shelf. This also won't hinder putting PFs on the top or bottom shelf. There is still plenty of room for standard PFs. As for the look with tombo doors you can barely tell. It still looks good. Hopefully Boba won't be more then 27in tall but if so you could still raise or lower a shelf to make it work. Besides with such a great PF I'll find a way... Oh yes I'll find a way.
