Oh I'd buy both, it would be my first Hot Toys!

The main reason I favor the SS version is that I very much prefer a static PF statue to a figure with a stand. Thanks for posting the comparison pics though and pointing out some of the differences.
Thanks for the Link guys

Well, I'm primarily a 1/6 collector (though I also dabble in statues), and QC is an area where neither HT nor SSC are really the best in my opinion. My most recent HT figure--Spider-Man--had two right hands, and dark black splotches on his face. The splotches, by the way, are something SSC won't replace a figure for, but that's another issue for another thread.I prefer statues, which is why I own zero Hot Toys, but there is no denying how amazing they are with QC.
polystone is also plastic.
I think both will turn out great, but I'm sticking with the SS PF. They nailed everything about it.
I feel the need to point out that the HT Boba Fett isn't a PF... but I also feel that you know that. What a pickle.
It's the same size as a PF?
Exactly this! heck the Boba mythos was ROJ Fett and Sideshow did an amazing job on that, although accuracy wasn't really a priority on that one. Either way Fett is still Fett, and he'll always have a place in my collection, whether it's Hot Toys or ideshowI would favor both.![]()
I would have killed for the SS or the HT version when I was a kid. I had the 1995 Kenner Boba Fett and remember being jealous of a friend that had a Boba Fett that was 12" and had soft goods for clothes and wookie braids. In retrospect, it was a terrible looking figure. No contest compared to the offerings we have today.
