Well I cant wait to get him my waitlist is all converted and now its just the wait. I kind of hope they eventually do about 1500 ESB Fetts it would be nice to have both of them in the same case.

Got an e-mail yesterday. My Exclusive Boba Fett will arrive in the warehouse in 25-30 days. It may go on eBay, I'm undecided. What would you offer?

I have to say, these new photos console me that I had to let him go, I know from my own experience pictures don't often do these pieces justice, but if the in hand colors are as vibrant as they seem in the photos, I'll feel ok, they seem a bit too bright, thankfully the worn out look of Medi's RAH that I do have on order will be a nice second place item to nab.

The green is WAY too bright. I'll still get this, but it's disappointing none the less. I hope this is just another case of bad SS photography.

i think it's the lighting...after luke/yoda i swore i would never judge based on SS terrible pics. wait till it's in hand.

He looks very nice the colors do appear maybe a little brighter but will need to see in hand pics to know for sure.

The helmet appears brighter than the chest which really makes me think it's the lighting.

That's what I noticed as well. When you do the multiple head angles from the blog.

Just checked out the pictures and you can see a drastic difference between the various shots in the blog, as far as the lighting goes.

I can't wait.

The color differences are likely also caused by the move from polystone to ABS plastic - but I think the majority is the lighting.

I was actually going to post "I wonder how long before Tom turns this Flash animation into his sig?" in the Sideshow blog comments, but you're faster than my thought, Mr. Andshell.

The colors looked better in the original pics, but that's just such a random variable, usually. I'm sure it's just a reflection off of Ginny's hair, anyway...

Anyone else disappointed in the use of plastic instead of polystone?

I can understand the body armor issues but now it looks kind of cheap. At least the helmet should have been made from polystone. It seems wrong to call it a "Premium Format" when corners are cut and it won't be made of the highest quality materials but still paying a premium price.

Maybe it is just because I am a huge Fett fan...I'm a little underwhelmed.

I do hope that there are no seams in the plastic like you get in the 12" figure line. That would be an incredible bummer. As long as it looks pretty much the same, it's not a big deal what it's made of. I just want it to be durable and look good.

Will the antenna on the helmet wilt or warp over time now that it's plastic instead of polystone?

Well that is kind of my point, even the body is plastic. For the price point I didn't plan on getting a large version of the 12" line. If that was the case I would just stick with the Medicom 12" version.

My guess is the polystone was too fragile during shipping. That would make sense for the change based on the blog.
