The decision was based on making a product that looked the best and would maintain durability over time.

Nothing is an exact science, I highly doubt you could have come up with a better idea.

Look, I am not trying to start a fight or anything but I am pretty sure more difficult things have been done in the past with PF's. It's all right to be defensive about it but you don't have to take personal jabs by inferring that I am too stupid to come up with a better idea.

I'm just glad that the body won't be made of delicious nougat, because there's no way I would have the self control to keep myself from eating him.

Regardless, I am pi$$ed that I am paying $300 for a large PLASTIC statue and not a polystone one that I was expecting when I placed my order. If you are happy with that, then good for you.

The issue is that since the armor is so thin it expands and shrinks at a different level than polystone, metal, etc. In order to correct the problem the body and armor needed to be the same material to ensure everything was scaled together correctly in production. I can almost guarantee this was a problem discovered in production and corrected to the current outcome. I would also say that any future PF's will be polystone unless another armor issue is involved.

That is fine. They just need to get that information out sooner and/or reduce the price then.

A PF Statue no matter what the reasoning should be made of the best materials. Plastic since first conceived has always been a less expensive alternative, except in the case of Boba Fett's price. Please explain how Sideshow can justify the cost as if it were a PF Lurtz made of leather, polystone and metal? Remember, your answer will help us determine who is in reality displaying a rant. :emperor
