I just had my WL converted for the best Boba statue ever (via Flexpay), and I couldn't be happier. Of course, none of that would be possible if not for the huge efforts of naysayers and doubt-spreaders, whose smear campaign made so many good collectors cancel their precious orders.

Yes, I did but I did it like 2 months ago because I knew he would be hitting when I was trying to pay down the CC going into the summer conventions.

but it had nothing to do with the ABS.
it was cause I was drunk when I ordered him and sobered up and realized I dont collect SW and cant afford to start now.

I didn't cancel. I want to see it in person before I make a decision.

But I won't hesitate to send it back if I feel it's an inferior product.

I have cancelled it!
But I had decided to do so before the plastic scandal took place. A lame exclusive, a ridiculous high edition size, and not enough love for secondary character made me do it. I love the Boba Fett design, but the character just doesn't appeal enough to me to spend the $325. Finally, the launch of the Medicom Boba Fett really made me push the 'cancel' button for the PF. The Medicom 12" is perfect! THAT's the Boba Fett I was really looking for: perfect likeness, superior quality (Medicom owners know what I mean), not to big, and 'only' $150 withdrawn from my bank account. $150 is not cheap at all, but it's a price I am willing to pay. And I doubt it'll be available for significantly less elsewhere. But the SSC Boba Fett probably will go for less on the secondary market.

Like I said when the crap first hit the fan, I actually have no real issue with the fact that the "statue" is made from ABS... but I refuse to pay the standard PF price for it.

If it's good and most collectors are happy I'll get one, though... for $200 or less on the secondary market.

I've only purchased one PF (Leia from a fellow SSFreak member) and as I snagged a Medicom Boba I don't think I'll be needing this $350+ version. When you can get the character for 12" I have a hard time shelling out the massive cash for it again--- of course now this Leia might turn me entirely i the other direction and you might see me throwing my 12" out the window in order to acquire PF's.... we'll see.

I'll be amazed if you find this for under $200. Once this thing starts shipping and people see how great it looks, they will start going for more. Still no need to get this direct though.

The edition size (and previous PF sales on the secondary market) all but guarantees that this will be available for FAR LESS than $325 on the secondary market before too long. After the initial "sizzle" of the item arriving settles in, so will the price.

In fact, given the ES and less than stellar Exclusive item it was probably silly to want to pay full list price for this even BEFORE the whole ABS reveal in the 11th hour happened. I only kept my order with SSC because I figured I'd at least get the Sideshow Rewards points. But that is so not worth it now.

I'll make a bet with you right now that I will be able to get one of these in the not too distant future for no more than $175-225 shipped.

I would guess $250 but that's about as low as it will go. Of course, I could be wrong if these start blowing away in the wind.

If I find the right price on the secondary market that fits into the budget I'll pick one up. I really want this piece but right now got to save, save, save.
