Hank is not going to come out say "I think Barry is a cheater". He's too classy for that. If you want to admit it or not, Hank NOT showing up IS saying something.

People defending Bonds drives me nuts. People defending ANY cheater drives me nuts. Poor Barry, always a victim
Give me one piece of proof and I will stop defending him. Come one the Feds have been after him for what 2 years now and they cant get him. If you like the idea of guilty before innocent just make sure you remember when you get in trouble. Sorry I do think he did but I also think the majority of others did too so it was a level playing field. As I said in the other thread I love how the fact that the pitcher who gave up 755 was suspended for performance enhancing drugs and that barely got a mention. Sorry he has NEVER tested positive. Bonds is unfairly the target there are those who tested positive and no one cares about them they only want Bonds. I would bet that if they had got Bonds the Mitchell investigation would have ended. Baseball doesn't care who did steroids unless they are breaking a record.

Ohh and dont forget he broke the record playing in the one of the hardest parks to hit one if not the hardest ever, the opposite of Hank who hit many in Atlanta which had the name the launching pad for the ease of hitting homers there.

Proof?? HAHAHA, what about "I used it, but didn' thint know what it was".....SUUUUUUURE Barry, I believe a professional baseball player was taking things that he had no clue what they were. I know I sure walk around just taking stuff w/o knowing what it is.

Also, please tell me what he did to make his head grow at the same time his body became He-Man like at 34-35 years old.

If you want to be blind to what he did fine, but don't expect the rest of the worl to believe a bunch of crap.

You do your and Bonds' case NO service whatsoever by even hinting at questioning Hank Aaron's accomplishment.

If you want to defend the 'roid head, fine. But when you start trying to demphasize Aaron's original records you're bringing a stick to a gunfight.

WOW! I thought you were kidding but you really seem to condone this crack pot. :monkey3

This guy on CNN's site said it best:

Rod Burnette of Blairsville, Georgia
As a lifelong Georgia resident, I guess it would be easy to say that I am biased. But with that being said, I think Bonds' achievement, if you can call it that, is definitely tainted. As a skinny little kid with the Pirates, he did some great things. In fact it could be said that he performed very similar to Hank Aaron. Hank was also a solid all-around player, although most people only know him for his home run record.

However, Hank continued to play at the same level for his whole career, where Bonds somehow managed to double his production in his late 30s when players are starting on their decline if they have even managed to make it that far.

Barry Bonds is the new home run champ. But there will always be that stigma that will stick with that title. That he cheated. And everyone knows it. And Barry knows it as well. So when he is cherishing his new title, it won't be as sweet as guilt creeps in and clouds his consciousness.

Perhaps one day when his body is broken down and the medical effects from steroids begin to plague him, he will do the right thing and admit he took steroids and help other athletes not make the same mistakes.

You really dont know what you are talking about do you. Hank has sad many times why he is not attending , guess what you way off there buddy. Hank said it has nothing to do with Steriods and he won't say that that he did until proven guilty. Many people think thats what Hank is doing. He said that he didnt want to go he didnt want to be the focus of this. He didnt want to be interviewed over and over.

for whatever reason hank wasn't there, doesn't take away from the fact bonds was assisted in reaching this milestone by artificial means. :lol

No I dont condone this but I know for 100% he was not the only one to do this. I bunch of people did I still personally belive the 80% or more did during that time. Comeone even the Game of Shadows book flat out states that Bonds started using them much later then many others so how come they didnt come close to the record, and how he was able to hit Home Runs off pitchers on steriods too.

Well, that I won't argue with. Because of steroids and other performance enhancers many modern sports records are tainted, imho... especially in MLB where they didn't even address the issue or testing until recently (thanks to the most evil union in sports).

Exactly!!

In MLB you can still swing a bat or pitch a ball, but in biking you can get banned and your reputation can get basically pissed on for years (no pun intended with the pissed on).

The thing about modern baseball that irks me more than anything is that 99% of the players could give a **** less about the legacy, history or integrity of the game. They just want their paychecks and personal stats.

WOW! You have just managed to not only comment on this issue but also touch apon the exact definition of the NBA. :lol:lol:lol
