got Boromir today in the mail and I gotta say he is a pretty neat figure, but that fabric chainmail is horrid.

My enthusiasm for the LOTR figures waned a little with the news of the line's demise. But it is rekindled now that Captain Faramir is back on track with making Boromir's cloak! I am stoked and can't wait to get it!

Yeah...let's apply a little "golden rule". (Although I haven't necessarily seen anyone dogging on him since my last post...did some posts get deleted?)

Maybe we should start a "bring back Captain Faramir" thread!

What the hell happened, anyway? I mean he just disappeared and left a TON of *#^$ in the road. Was he on his mission or something?

I know he had made a couple of mistakes about shipping a few items late that people had purchased than the he collected payment on a handful of his custom Boromir cloaks that he made and took a while(still looks like he is getting them out possibly) to ship those out as well. I know a lot of people were just getting aggravated which is understandable but their anger drove him away. Unfortunatley CF just got too ahead of himself I beleive. He is a great guy though and he is only human.

He'll get the message. He is reading the forums.

Edit - And that is actually why I haven't started one either. I am not real confident that everyone on these forums can handle that thread in a mature fashion.

Yes, posts earlier were deleted, by me.
This was because it was people speculating about things they didnt know all the information about and were not directly affected.

Since Darth Cruel has mention that he is getting his cloak we have let this run and will see how things go, but I would advise against starting a thread specifically about it/him. Unfortuntely some people cannot control themselves, even though they were not affected and if that were he case it would only be deleted.

So I would leave it for now and we will see what happens.
