got mine. I initially ordered it as a christmas present for my brother when it was supposed to come out in the winter. OH WELL, at least he gets his christmas present in february.

Hey guys...I just posted some cool comparison shots over at The Green Dragon of the Production Boromir vs the Prototype Boromir. Some VERY drastic differences...some good, some bad.

All in all...the production sample is MUCH better and has MUCH more detail.

Got my notice for the PF Boba Fett as well as this...OUCH.

Really? I must be blind because I don't see a HUGE amount of difference between them. Other then some changes in this clothes, don't see a huge amount.

Yeah, the hair is a bit darker and the clothes look a tad newer. Other than that they both look awesome!

I think besides the shirt having some gold added, the most obvious change is with the material of the blue long vest, which went from a leather material like what is found on Aragorn's duster, to a more shiny satiny material.

Still too early to tell if it looses any points for that. (though I think I like the original leather vest material better...)

I hope they do something Jabba size for this line. Not sure what they would do though. What do you guys think?

About the only things that they could logically do for this line would be a Troll or some horses. Mounted Aragorn for ROTK would be too cool as would a Mouth of Sauron.

Everything else is simply too big...but they have several horses to choose from and a few versions of the Troll to pick from as well.

i got the 15 day notice earlier today. kinda wished is legolas was just delayed a little bit, he just arrived few days ago. most collectors would then have the chance to have both legolas and boromir shipped together for combined shipping to save money. especially overseas customers like me.

oh well, on the bright side it isn't something big n heavy or else i would have been a little sad.

I think he's looking great, although I think the hair seems to be the wrong size compared to the prototype. I could care less though, he looks great and will undoubtedly look even better in person. I can't wait for this one! If I get mine early I'll make my review too; since I've decided to be a completionist in the 1/6 line I might as well jump in the review wagon; besides, I always get my figures way early. I'm looking forward to Boromir, more so than when I first ordered him. But I'm still more excited for Faramir.........

Sauron would probably be considered "Jabba sized" for this line but my hope? AN ENT!!! Treebeard following by a army set to fight for Middle Earth :rock

Lol, I think there is a change to get a Treebeard done and that being a Jabba announcement but the real question is how much SSC is willing to continue to put into this line. We are entering year 2 with only four figures....

Treebeard is certainly doable. Would be roughly double the size of a regular 12" figure. Heck, they can simply scale up the amazing ToyBiz talking one and I'd be happy.

I just wish that were true about the LOTR PF line! We are well into our second year with only two figures.

:monkey2

I'm on the wait(forever) list. I guess I should write off any hope of ever getting him. :(

Can't wait for Boromir, but I like the idea of Jabba Sized characters for this line. Cave Troll seems to be a no-brainer, but Treebeard could end up being massively tall. The Balrog is too big, but horses seem like a sure fire hit too. I'd love a fell-beast, but I don't have the room to house a piper cub sized plane.
