Boromir Notice

The Balrog is too big, but horses seem like a sure fire hit too.

Speaking for all of the Planet of the Apes collectors out there, a Sideshow horse has been LONG overdue.

I think besides the shirt having some gold added, the most obvious change is with the material of the blue long vest, which went from a leather material like what is found on Aragorn's duster, to a more shiny satiny material.

Still too early to tell if it looses any points for that. (though I think I like the original leather vest material better...)

Also with the change in vest material it seems the weathering that was on the earlier vest has disappeared. Overall the whole thing looks "shinier" but I think the light in the second one is closer to the figure and hence making the whole thing brighter. Hard to say till its in hand. Still I think I'll be happy with this.

i got my notice, a week or 2 ago. i'm excited for this one. i think this figure has the best likeness out of the 3 figures shipped/shipping so far.

I just got my 3-5 day notice a few hours ago.

I'm really not worried about how he'll look. The sculpt is dead-on as far as I'm concerned. I just can't wait to hear from the Chicken Littles once those first pics start coming in.

I can't wait for this figure. Boromir is my favorite character and Sean Bean is one of my favorite actors. Maybe it is time to take my othe LOTR 12" out of their packages.

I'm really looking forward to him.... The repaint mostly... the sculpt is pretty much there. The clothing won't need much weathering at all, which is nice.
